Then again, it's been a while since I watched the show... a lot of my complains with the show seem to be things that I adore about 24. For me having Sydney get amnesia or kidnapped or whatever for two years was the final straw for me.

Might be time for a rewatch.

Actually seasons 3 and most of 4 are really bad.  season 5 good though, pulled everything together nicely.

I liked Alias, but it really was a different show every season. It had too many reboots in my opinion. I never did see the last season and a half, because I had a lot of night shifts around that time and I didn't have access to torrents if I missed a show, so it would have been kind of hard to follow along.

Show was great till J.J. Abrams left. It was pretty decent in the last season though.

Actually, I agree with that writeup 100%.  The show should have ended in the middle of season 2, when they retooled it.

the article *is* right, but that doesn't stop me from groovin' on the show. spy thrillers are inherently ludicrous and implausible -- that's what makes 'em so damn entertaining.
