show isd fuck awesome
I want to chew on the rim of Simon Pegg's asshole until it gets that wet newspapery consistency that beef jerky gets after you have been chewing on it for far too long.
-
Finally watched it, eh?
-
I watched over youtube, grand stuff.

Great stuff, show was awesome while it lasted. I love that bicycle raver dude. And the A-team rave was awesome too. Plus they had a Schnauzer which is my favorite type of dog.
-
The best ep is when they go to the rave party.

It didn't get cancelled or anything. 14 episodes is a pretty normal length for a britcom.

Yeah it was 14 episodes long but it feels short. Albeit more cohesive than most shows I'm used to watching. Love the show none the less.

But I thought G loves Britcoms. You'd think he'd be used to the short series length. Oh wells.
I wish it was longer, myself.

Britcoms are basically mini-series's in the american sense thats just what you gotta wrap your head around and your fine.

I thought the Office was just perfect in that regard, but then there's series like Life On Mars where I want to kill myself because I wish they were 20 + eps long. At the same time, sometimes it feels like Brit shows in general know when to end, when compared to American tv shows that seem to last forever.
-
exactly. Fawlty Towers wouldn't be half as good if it was 20 episodes or more. The characters are one dimensional and eventually they would grow annoying. But at it's two "series" length it works perfectly and is regarded as one of the best britcoms ever.
I remember John Cleese felt when the Python's wanted to do a 4th series of Monty Python he found them absurd and thought going into that length was far too long and insane.
-
Spaced was my first britcom so yeah I realize they are short, but that was one I love a lot more than others. Spaced rocks though dont get me wrong. The characters were just great.

Robot Wars is better because Nick is shirtless.
