I want to chew on the rim of Simon Pegg's asshole until it gets that wet newspapery consistency that beef jerky gets after you have been chewing on it for far too long.

It didn't get cancelled or anything. 14 episodes is a pretty normal length for a britcom.

Britcoms are basically mini-series's in the american sense thats just what you gotta wrap your head around and your fine.

Britcoms are basically mini-series's in the american sense thats just what you gotta wrap your head around and your fine.

I thought the Office was just perfect in that regard, but then there's series like Life On Mars where I want to kill myself because I wish they were 20 + eps long. At the same time, sometimes it feels like Brit shows in general know when to end, when compared to American tv shows that seem to last forever.

The characters are one dimensional and eventually they would grow annoying. But at it's two "series" length it works perfectly and is regarded as one of the best britcoms ever.

I remember John Cleese felt when the Python's wanted to do a 4th series of Monty Python he found them absurd and thought going into that length was far too long and insane.
