Believe me, I see why you don't like it.

I wanted to fucking slap the cinematographer. I fucking hate shaky cam.

The first one is vastly superior, but in a world of really really really really shitty horror films (and there's a lot of them in today's society) this is still one of the better ones.

To me, the shaky cam was just a symptom of an overall larger problem- this was just a poorly conceived and executed film.  I actually like the hand held, single camera documentary style of shooting things when done right.

Now, maybe I'm being too hard on this one because I really enjoyed the first one a whole lot.  That's a possibility, but I still thought it was poorly written, directed, acted and shot.
