Title: external hard drive woes
Post by: FlameOfCallandor on May 13, 2007, 10:38:36 PM
I bought an external hard drive from frys a few weeks back but now I lost the power cord for it. The website or the manual hav eno information about what kind of connection is needed. I took the picture to Frys but the clerk was abrupt and "certain" that they did not sell these. Can anyone tell me what kind of connection i need for this hard drive?

go to radioshack, ask for a 5-pin ac adapter.

Really? WTF Frys probably had that shit too. Also, why does it look like a s-video cable.

It's a clever trick to fool fry's employees.

Yeah a 5 pin ac should run you a few bucks at radio shack. Lots of devices use that over the other ac inputs, I dont know why it does that.

2 different firewire ports now thats strange.
