So awesome. I wish my mind would come up with a scenario from which I had sex with Elisha Cuthbert when I really had sex with my mattress, that would make me appreciate my brain more.

I always try to argue with people that say they had memories when they were infants. It's just not possible. I think they remember photos and contruct a reality around those images.
But , it's a circular arguement, because how can you really argue what someone thinks they remember.

meh what rocket science
so the accuracy of memories of factual events happening to oneself in the past are limited by whatever information he can accurately perceive then, and accurately recall later, and biased upon his subjective preferences that make his cortex memorize more easily and with less strain the bits of memory what he himself likes
bravo, what a discovery

so the accuracy of memories of factual events happening to oneself in the past are limitated by whatever information he can accurately perceive then, and accurately recall later, and biased upon his subjective preferences that make his cortex memorize more easily and with less strain the bits of memory what he himself likes

1. Episodic or autobiographical memories are formed in the hippocampus and not the cortex.
2. These are unconscious processes, not the result of conscious self-bias.
3. Scientists are not simply interested in making new discoveries; they also want to understand known phenomenon.
4. Prose should be clear and lucid. Stylistically, heavy or flowery prose should be avoided. Words should be chosen for maxim accuracy and clarity not to impress people on the interwebs.
