Hellsing is average. Haven't read the manga or watched the new ova, but the tv series is one of the most overrated anime next to fucking Trigun.

Hey, at least Hellsing had an actual budget. Trigun looked like crap.

I agree there. Trigun is shit sans the last 5 or so episodes.  Hellsing at least had good fights.
