Seattle boggles me. During Fall and Winter we get more rain than most places. However, when it DOES rain all the drivers go nuts and everyone acts like they've never seen it before. That however, is beside my point.

My point is I talk to people and they're all YAY SUN YAY SUN YAY SUN WEEK 6 of PURE SUN. Admittedly it isn't that HOT here, but it is VERY consistant. The result is that most of the grass in town is dead, trees harbor wounds from the Sun's worst days that make the whole area look fucking dumpy.

My apartment has given up trying to keep the lawn going cause it just cant seem to be done. These plants NEED rain, yet everyone is all SUN WOO SUN. WTF go inside and drink coffee and read books like a REAL Seattle citizen. Where the fuck are all these wanna-be Arizona citizens coming from?!
