BUY THIS ANUS H0GS (Logitech MX Revolution, the mouse Jesus would use if He was here and surfing cheeseburger porn sites)
if you do not, you are a MOUSING HOBO

Yeah I got a Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse combo at OfficeMax, I like it so far.
I'd like to get one of those mice that has their own recharge stand you can put it in when you're done.

Why is there two scroll wheels?
-
because the thumb one is for high-speed alt-tabbing
-
I just got this set though, I'm fine with it until it decides to explode or something else Microsoft related.

What does the small button below the central wheel do?
I tried one of these out at the store the other day and it feels good in the hand, but I fear so many buttons on a mouse :-\ Also, it's a bit big for the space I have next to my keyboard.
Every button on the mouse can be configured to do anything. I use that button below the mouse to open up a My Computer window, since it's something I do infrequently, but frequently enough that it's useful enough to have it a button away.

When I was with my parents, I always wanted a cordless phone so I could talk in my room (lol pillow talk heeheheeEe) but they were afraid people would listen in to their conversations via those scanners. Paranoid parents for the fucken loss.

That's pretty cool. I'd probably do the same for that button... so could I map the sidewheel to the volume control or something like that? That'd probably be more useful to me than alt-tab.
Yeah, you can set it to volume. My keyboard has a slider for that already, though.
