Title: Aegis Wing is surprisingly very fun.

the co-op mode at least.  4 players is a blast on insane mode.  single player is ass though, i'd recommend everyone stay away from it.  who's up for an EB session sometime?

I'd be interested in at least trying it multi player as single player was 10 kinds of ass.

awesome, we got our 4.  is 6:30pm PST thursday okay with you guys?  i've got dinner plans tonight.  i'll set up shop and send the invites if that works for everyone.  shouldn't be a long session

Er, Thursday I was gonna go hoop it up with my friends at the gym, I already bailed on Monday cause I was tired so I dunno if I should wuss out twice in a week.

I'm working 2 PM to 9:30 PM tomorrow and 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM the next day.  They're not heinous shifts, but retail shifts always feel longer :P

RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE, thread!

I've been playing this with a friend at work during lunch and it's pretty damned fun. Playing alone is useless, it's just a cheap R-Type clone with bad music, but playing cooperatively is a different story. Using power-ups effectively as a team is fun; combining ships and raining down death with one player using the shield while another uses the Big Ass Laser is a lot of fun.

I suck at R-Type style shmups and bullet hell games just stress me out, so I'm surprised to find myself enjoying this.

Yeah, I suspect it was deemed "not quite enough" for a paid title... but I'm still baffled why they didn't make it available across all regions.

We played local multi with four players on Friday night and it was fun; I didn't previously notice how much the freakin' power-ups get boosted when all voltron'd out.
