The point of PS2 is I already own the guitar. And the PS2.
Also, while this is coolish I'm still way more excited about the 80s edition.
The 80s edition tracklist is fucking destroyed by this so far.
And this will be a PS2 purchase for me in all likelihood. Unless 360 gets a price drop this fall.

Eh, I dunno. As much as I like some songs on the GHIII track list, I really think that the 80s disc will be more fun. This is a purely subjective determination.
Glad to see so many master tracks, however. And yeah, PS2 is the SKU-to-beat. GH is hardly about the graphics. It's all about the sweet, sweet guitar controllers that I already own.
I sorta wished they had some of the stuff from Origin of Symmetry.
I would have preferred either Stockholm Syndrome or Hysteria.
Seems like a neat little game, this GIT-tar Hero.
OctaneIsn't Red Octane out of the decision-making process for this game? Activision bought all rights and passed it to Neversoft, I think.
After seeing that song line up I now have no intention of ever playing a Guitar Hero game
Where are the good bands? Dragonforce? Van Halen? Megadeth? Tesla?
is anyone else really apprehensive about GHIII
all this increased focus on master tracks seems like a smokescreen to hide the fact that they don't actually know anything about/understand music
Slow Ride should be the original, not some weaksauce cover. And Wheezer? DO NOT WANT. :maf
I take it that you think Fergie is an actual musician. :-*Slow Ride should be the original, not some weaksauce cover. And Wheezer? DO NOT WANT. :maf
I like Weezer. :(
