Title: Evilbore's Official "Let's Prepare for the Apocalypse" thread.
Post by: MrAngryFace on May 23, 2007, 11:52:45 PM: I got my hands on an EMERGENCY RESOURCE GUIDE. It says you need these things to enjoy the apocalypse:

All supplies must last at least a week or more.

Basic Emergency Kit
Dry or canned food and drinking water for each person.
Can Opener
First Aid Supplies/First Aid Book
Copies of Important Documents (ie birth certificates, licenses, and insurance policies)
"Special Needs" items for family members (ie contacts, eye glasses, medications, infant formula)
A change of clothing
Sleeping Bag and/or Blanket
Battery Powered Radio/Television
Flashlight and EXTRA batteries
Whistle
Waterproof Matches
Toys, Books, Puzzles (ie things to keep you from going nuts)
Extra house keys/car keys
List of contact names and phone numbers
Food/Water supplies for any pets

Cooking Supplies
Barbecue/Camp Stove (charcoal or camp stove fuel too)
Plastic forks, spoons, knives
Paper Plates/Cups
Paper Towels
Heavy Duty foil

Sanitation Supplies
Large plastic trash bags
Large trash cans
Bar soap and liquid detergent
Shampoo
Toothpaste/Toothbrushes
Feminine and Infant Supplies
Toilet Paper
Household bleach with no additives (water purification)
Newspaper (for garbage n waste)

Comfort
Sturdy Shoes
Work gloves
Tent

Tools
Axe, Shovel, Broom
Crescent wrench for turning off GAS
Screwdriver, pliers, hammer
Coil of one-half inch rope
Plastic tape and sheeting
Knife or razor blades
Garden Hose (FOR STEALING GAS)

Talk about crazy. i have access to the guns and a few weeks worth of emergency food and some MRE's. i think we could survive if ever such a thing happens. i have thought about it a lot cause of my freaky dreams about the end of the world.

I've occasionally had dreams where I'd watch a nuclear warhead detonate near Los Angeles and a few seconds later I'd burn up. What does it mean?

Too much movie watching? Too much war stuff on TV? Subconsciously wanting an escape from ever having to remember your butthole picture again?
