Title: Got a new phone. Need some help.

So I got a Samsung SYNC earlier. Now that I finally have a phone that can actually play sound without sounding like shit, I figured it's time for me to get some ring tones. Now, is there any way (other than USB) that I can get my own MP3s on my phone? I tried emailing it to myself and then downloading the attachment, but it won't let me download anything from Gmail ::). Is there any place I could possibly upload MP3s and then download it right on my phone?

Help meh.

who do you use?  cingular?  sprint? verizon?

You'll have to use a streaming site no way to download wirelessly unless you use their pay service. its how they get you.

this works with some models of samsung phones even on cingular service.  it's worth a shot.  this is how i get all my stuff on my phone.

you could also record the song and choose it to be the ringtone.  might be shitty quality.

Just felt like bumping this again to say that this shit rocks. Now I can make my own ringtones and whatnot :D
