So, I was digging the game at first. If I were reviewing it on a scale of 1 to 10, it would probably be a 6-7. The CTF was well implemented and made me happy (although the exits are kind of close to where the flag spawns), and the team deathmatch was, well, team deathmatch. I decided to turn my brain off from the whole teamwork thing and just do some good ol' goon poppin'. Free for all deathmatch. Surely with the chaotic array of tech upgrades and powers, the FFA DM would be quite a bit interesting. . .
Except that it doesn't exist. How the FUCK do you ship a multiplayer only game with the most basic of fragging modes? Since I like playing games while drunk, FFA is how I tend to roll, and Shadowrun can't even get that right. This game is a total failure. Do not buy. My rating immediately dropped to a 4-5.

I thought we all knew this ever since the first media exposed it was misusing the Shadowrun name?

I knew deathmatch was one of the game modes, so I just assumed there would be a free for all. It's only logical. I didn't realize the designers were totally distinguished mentally-challenged. It's not like free for all deathmatch is hard to implement in comparison to 2 different CTF modes.

I'm so glad this game sucks, I sure hope it bombs.
I will forever be a totally nerdy 7th grader playing the fuck out of Shadowrun on the Genesis.

Meh, I wasn't totally hyped about this one, and I'm not familiar with Shadowrun outside of the cyberpunk-fantasy theme.

How the fuck, in the year 2007, is there not a demo of this? How do you expect people to buy this if you don't put out a demo?

Microsoft didn't even have enough faith in the game on the PC to even do the basic pre-release legwork of a demo. The game on the PC literally seems to purely exist as a very expensive proof of concept game for the features in Live for Windows that couldn't be put into Halo 2 PC, notably cross-platform play.
What a joke. I think on the 360 they are hoping it'll be one of their flash-in-the-pan XBL "games of the month" successes.
