anyone pick this up yet? i'm hooked. it's a hybrid puzzle/platformer, a combination of Exit, Cube, Super Paper Mario, and the original Prince of Persia. the story is basically about some dude with psychological problems who visits a shrink that hooks him up to a contraption that allows him to enter his own mind. by defeating each stage within your mind, you get closer to becoming "normal". -- or something like that (not much of a story guy to be honest)
gameplay is pretty challenging, but not frustrating to the point where you just want to give up and leave the game to the dust mites. hitting the [] button allows you to "crush"; switch from 2D to 3D. your objective is to collect enough orbs within the world to exit each stage. the orbs are spread throughout the level and it's up to you to manipulate the environment in 2D and 3D to find 'em all. by switching perspectives and using in-level objects (huge bowling balls, latches, barrels, etc.), you've gotta find the right route to the exit. of course mixed in are secret bonuses that you have to find if you want to get 100% completion for each stage.
anyway, this has dethroned puzzle quest as my PSP goty thus far, but i'm a puzzle game whore so your opinion may vary. i forgot to mention, each stage can last anywhere from 15-45 minutes depending on how quick you figure out each stage. like i said, it's really challenging but you'll feel compelled to complete each stage.

Isnt that new PQ2 or whatever game coming out supposed to be good? If this game is a good puzzler ill check it out. Puzzlers and Shooters are all I play on PSP anyway.

i'd give it about an 8.5/10. so yea maybe GREAT was a bit too strong. time for a topic change

Eh, like Exit it seems neat but the sort of thing I'd get bored of after a few hours.

Nah, this is better than Exit. It has a story, characters, more fleshed out stuff. I only did a couple levels, I'll get back to it, save it for a plane trip or something.

it's definitely not the type of game you can sit there for a whole day and try to beat. it's only good in short increments. else, it gets a bit overwhelming

This is probably why I should've bought it. Playing it on memory stick makes me feel compelled to keep playing even if I'm not digging it. Had I bought it I could've shelved it and come back to it.
