Title: Jesus, Judd Apatow's Career Is Really Taking Off

He has only written two movies since cable guy in 1996 so far and I was just looking and the guy has three movies out next year alone that he is writing (not to mention producing like 500 movies). Absolutely insane. I have a feeling if we are thrown all these apatow comedies every year it will get kinda old quickly.  :-\

I mean next year he has all these movies he wrote: Walk Hard a movie with Paul Rudd, John C. Reilly, & Jenna Fischer (PAM!). The Pineapple Express with Freaks & Geeks alum Seth Rogen and James Franco. And Forgetting Sarah Marshall starring yet another Freaks & Geek guy Jason Segel with that girl from Veronica Mars.

He has to fall apart sometime and not pump these scripts out.

No wonder why i love freaking cable guy. i like him but i dont like 40 year old virgin like stuff. That movie sucked halfway through.

His movies are going to be the new fad for next year until the next fad hits.

Is anyone really surprised?  This is a re-occurring thing in comedies.

he also has that "frat pack" (all thos owen wilson, vince vaughn, ben stiller...etc comedies with them all together) kinda style that was big a couple years ago with using the same actors over and over and over (carrel, seth rogen, paul rudd..etc)

Cable Guy rocks. He also wrote Fun with Dick and Jane which I thought was surprisingly funny.

Except Apatow's regulars aren't shit.  And his movies aren't shit.  All those frat pack comedies sucks ass.

I didn't compare quality!  :-\ Obviously I rather see Seth Rogen and co. casted over and over instead say Owen Wilson.

I dunno I have grown pretty damn tired of those frat pack movies lately. I did enjoy Wedding Crashers for what it was though.

Owen Wilson is good in Wes Anderson flicks for the most part as well.

Well of course he can only do as well as the source material allows. 

Owen Wilson is the best thing in Wedding Crashers.  He knows how to carry himself in a film.  I'd make sweet sweet love to his chiseled abs.

I enjoyed the early-to-prime movies of the frat pack (everything basically from Zoolander to Wedding Crashers, especially Old School).  I don't honestly nderstand why you all think they're so shitty–it's not that hard to get a chuckle out of me, though, so eh.

I also don't hate Will Ferrel as much as you fagbags do.

i love the frat pack movies, but Will Ferrell is easily the worst out of all of them.

Edit: wait, wrong movie.  One of their movies is atrocious, and I can't remember which.

Owen Wilson is overrated and no way should he play a major role in a film. Luke Wilson on the other hand dis much better.

YES. Rudd was sooooo good. Overall, I think Knocked Up is definitely more of a date movie than 40-Year-Old Virgin though. I can't bring myself to decide which one is funnier.
