You're in high school so right now memorization will help you. A good way to do this is to create mnemonics/acronyms for as much stuff as possible. That's how I was able to remember all the fucking cranial nerves back in the day.

Oh the days of highschool when my mind was full of such phrases as King    Phillip   came    over    for     good    sex... :-*

Instead of reading or highlighting important definitions you should write them down, or try to visualise them if you're inclined ie, try to remember the picture then you'll remember how it fits in etc.

Get an STD.  Your Dr. will teach you a ton about the reproductive system.  And doing is the best way to learn.

If you want to learn about the skeletal system, play in traffic.

Go to Border's, look through the art section and buy a suitable anatomy book for art students.  Trace that shit until your little heart is content.
