The Canadian dollar is now worth 94.07 cents US, around a 30 year high, and up from just 61.79 cents US in early 2002.
Facts: Canada has a trade surplus, an oil surplus, and a budget surplus. America... not so much.

Well, they say fresh water is going to be one of the most sought after commodities in the future. And apparently Canada has the most....

I thought the Canadian dollar was already worth more than the American dollar. Huh.

As a canuck, I couldnt be happier. I remember when going in vacation to the states basically raped your funds. Paying 1.5x for everything = no fun.
The only downside is that this hurts our exports.

I want to go to a Minor League game where a Canadian team is facing the Worcester Tornados. I'm the one that'll be yelling "America!" in a fake southern accent.
F' Canadians. They buy milk in fucken plastic bags! WTF

I remember going to Canada a whole bunch of times back in 1999-2003 when I attended college at UB, back when the loonie was around .65 American dollars. I'd go up to NF and Toronto and piss the money away on booze (the drinking age being 19 is a godsend when you are in college), clubs, and CDs. Imagine my shock last year when I went to Vancouver and the loonie was now worth .91!

Its all Walmarts fault. Them and their cheap import empire.
