Title: Time is WIBBLYWOBBLY sez Doctor Who
Post by: etiolate on June 10, 2007, 08:49:20 AM
Episode 10 of the season of Doctor Who surprisingly lacks much Doctor Who.  Instead it is full of a cute blonde girl and some real time travel plot shenanigans, and also some really freaky statues.  The camera work in this one is pretty cool, especially the Tardis in the dark scene.  I'm still trying to figure out the whole episode though.

How does the Doctor write that message on the wall and know that something is going to be thrown at her when he gets trapped before realizing what is going on? I can see how he would be able to do everything after he gets trapped by the statues, but when does he write that message?

I just assumed that at the end, when the chick gave Doctor Who the stack of papers, including the transcript and photos, that she had included a detailed account of everything relevant that happened, including the opening portion in the house (since it would have seemed important to her since it involved time-travely stuff).  I think the really important question is why did the Weeping Angel throw a rock at the beginning of the episode instead of doing its normal thing.  It's the only time in the episode that one of them resorts to physical violence.  The answer:  It made for a cool teaser pre-title sequence, that's why

That was a really cool episode, though.  The Weeping Angels rock.
