Title: Apple's WWDC starts in 10 minutes

Things that are confirmed:

Unveiling of Leopard  (Illuminous? Please?)
Details on iPhone

Things that are rumored:

Parallel's demoing their server virtualization software
Brushed aluminium iMacs (Might happen at an announcement after WWDC, like when Leopard actually comes out)
iTunes movie rental service
iTunes bumps resolution of videos

Things not happening:

iLife and iWork updates (they wouldn't be very WWDC-y announcements)
New iPods (although I wouldn't count out an allusion to future iPods getting iPhone features)

APPLETON.  SInce Apple fucked up MacWorld, the Superbowl of Apple fanaticism, they had best not fuck this up.  This is like the, I dunno, Robot Wars of Apple fanaticism.

And the Apple store just went down. . .which implies something is going on sale today.  Nothing is rumored to go on sale today.

For all the shitting on Windows they did, they presented an awful lot crap we'd already seen last year as being "new."  Still, that Finder is nice, if a little offputting due to the similarities with iTunes.

It was only about the iPhone.  They didn't even mention Leopard, which at that point they were still saying was an early 2007 release.  They didn't show anything computer-related at all at Macworld.

I actually have all the money needed to get a iMac, but I'm waiting for the newer model to come around, which the rumors keep buzzing around lead me to believe it's soon.
