I never really notices him before and always lumped him together with Cake in the late 90s alternative rock.

Good stuff, my favorite song is Tropicalia.

 Yeah, Beck certainly delivers.. well, less as of late... he's following a pretty familiar pattern with his albums these days but if Tropicalia is your surprise hit in discovering the quality of his output, it
should be a pleasant enough diversion down the years into the creamier back catalogue.... Odelay :bow

Beck rules.  I actually have to thank lemurs for getting me into his music.  I only knew him from his Mellow Gold and Odelay days, but his music is still kicking ass.
