It will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.

Warner previously said they'd also release it on HD-DVD and Blu Ray. I hope they follow through on that.
I haven't seen this since it's original theatrical release... I still remember what they had on the reader board outside the Guild 45th (theater in Seattle): EVERYONE DIES.

Its easily his best work. The rest of his stuff ranged from my like to dislike.

i don't really like kenneth branagh, and this staging sounds absurd even by branagh standards. but it'd be interesting to see the full text of hamlet performed, and i always thought it was weird that there was no dvd
edit: i saw the mel gibson one on tv not long ago, and while it's idiotic in various ways, mel gibson's performance is...actually pretty good. i wish i could say the same for helena bonham carter's repulsive ophelia

Does Robin Williams take off his shirt?
-
He did the best theatrical Hamlet, even if you dont like the rest of his work.

i like the laurence olivier one, though it uses a really short text. and does this weird MENTAL VOICE thing with the soliloquies. and helped standardize freud's reading of hamlet's relationship to his mother. wait, maybe i don't like the laurence olivier one
speaking of freud, i think the mel gibson one actually has mel straddling glen close in bed, THRUSTING as he delivers his various anathemas. good god

haha

Brannagh as hamlet was an actor doing hamlet, or at least felt like it. I was always aware of it, and its fine and theatrical.
Gibson felt like the character or persona of Hamlet and I have to say I prefer that.

Youre such a distinguished mentally-challenged fellow, goddamn. This is worse than your 200 hour WoW Critique
