These were the games proposed in the other thread. It would be unfair to add any more, so don't go asking for "Erotic Loli Fantasy Adventure III: Revenge of Rika-chan" added to the poll. As soon as there's a definite winner, I'll close the thread and TVC 15 can decide when we start with the torture.

As frustratingly average as Odin Sphere is, it's still a notch above everything else on that list, I think.

I was half-looking forward to buying Ar tonelico or Atelier Iris and mocking them mercilessly along with you guys. I already own Odin Sphere, though, so I voted for that. :/

I've decided to go the rental route for whatever wins, even if it means reducing the torture aspect. The race to japafaggotry should be decided within the timeframe of a rental -- plus, I can't justify spending $30 - $50 on an animu turd; not even for the sake of evilbore humor.

I think explaining to my wife what the game is about would be hilarious. She had a huge laugh at that creepy Idolm@ster thread on GAF when I showed it to her (she didn't believe anime fans in the US were so debased).

If Ar Tonelico wins, I'm out. And that's even if I play it during the day while my wife is at work (7 weeks of summer vacation is yet another awesome reason to be a school psychologist).

I voted for Legendia as I have never ever beaten a Tales game, but this one has music by the Mr. Driller composer so I want to beat it. But the first hour or so was pretty..... meh :-\
Legendia was my second choice. I've played a few Tales games (only beat one) and found the gameplay stomachable enough.
I think I need to see why everyone is so scared of Ar Tornelico, to google!
Wow, Ar Tonelico is way more HomoJapa or whatever than Odin Sphere. I can play Odin Sphere and not feel ashamed of myself, but Ar Tonelico? I feel dirty just reading about it.

I was looking at the Ar Tonelico 1 site, none of these characters look THAT loli... I mean none of them are nearly as bad as the chick from Disgaea or something - the younger girls are all clothed and the "sexy" characters look reasonably adult.
