Groo, is this game easy achievements? I think you have most, or all of them.
-
OMG A DEMO!
-
I died.
-
so what's the verdict, how does this play? (360 is dead)
-
I died again :(
The controls are kinda complicated but once you got it down its all good. You have your main and secondary weapons, weapon switch, radar, wingmen commands, accelerate, decelerate, special attacks. The mission you're given has so much stuff going on......
I like it but I must beat the demo before I think about buying the full game.
-
ewwwwwwwwwwww
-
Why do you care so much about achievements?

I just played the full game today.
I like it a bit better than what I played in the demo.
I enjoyed the first 2-part mission I played...but I must play more to decide if I like it or not...the tracers the ships leave behind are cool - and if you like Sylpheed in general the music, and scripting is decent fan-service I suppose....
What I think of it will depend on how varied the missions become...if its like 100 missions of "dogfight in this open space" im not gonna be happy...but the price was cheep.
-
I was gonna make a thread about this.I finished the second mission(3 parts) and saved. That mission is about protecting peeps.
-
for those who have played the AC6 demo, is it comparable or does AC6 blow it out of the water as a flight sim?
-
don't ever compare this to aC6. You could easily shoot planes with your bullets in that. It's nearly fucking impossible to do that in this with the way the controls are (you have hella momentum because you're in space and you can't turn right or left). AC6 is easy to get into in 10 minutes. I couldn't get what the fuck I had to do in this game after 1 hour of playing a mission and I did the training missions.

Actually I do quite well with the pulse like weapons...I down many enemies that way - just use the fire leading sight to see where you gotta aim.
Do the stages become varied? Fly thru any structures or meteor showers like in the cutscene?
-
You gotta spam with missiles allot in this...its the key - dont even use missiles unless there are 3-8 enemies in the recticle you can multilock on.
-
I only played the demo. It's way too much trouble to get the right momentum to then match your target's speed and then shoot him. I think I shot a few but the HUD on AC6 just looked more clean.

An advanced move is to lock onto an enemy and then push both the triggers at the same time - you will speed lock onto the enemy and travel at their speed.....shooting alley time....you can turn off the speed lock by pressing both triggers again....if you get looped around in a fast tight dogfight..just press B+A to auto focus on the targeted/selected enemy.
or try clicking the right stick, keep a lock on as you fly away and send a parting seeker missile gift.
-
The spamming of the missiles remind me of Robotech (the cell shaded one)
-
yeah I know how to speed lock but there was also the challenge of shooting somebody with a slow moving bullet who was relatively FAR away so you had to keep correcting your angle and check to see if you could still see him and so on.
