I probably will, especially if it's true that the screen will be sharper and the battery life will be four times longer. Sony has my monies.
-
if its smaller (a given), hackable, and cheap then yes.
-
Lol rebuy.
If this revision is true, then I will be buying my first PSP.
-
I will trade in my old one if a new version comes out with all the stuff that's rumored (8 gigs flash memory, better screen, and most importantly longer battery life). I hope the Japanese release has exclusive colors so I can buy a cool one that I can lord over the homies back home.
-
i'll buy two.
-
Depends, I dunno if I want a thinner model. We'll see how it looks.
-
I'll be all like "FUCK ME SONY, USE ME AS YOUR WHORE" as I lay down the kizzash for my (hopefully sea blue) PSP Slim. I hope it has a nice clamshell design like the DS for better screen protection.
-
if it's a clamshell there day one
-
if its clamshell fuck it
-
If its more portable, has a better screen, better battery life and is hackable then I'm there.
-
i've got an extended warranty on the last psp i bought. i'm going to use that to get the new model. always worked for new gbas.
-
I'll buy it, but I'll definitely be keeping my hacked PSP as well. I have a feeling these newer models are going to be a lot harder to crack, or they'll do something to make it impossible to use custom firmware without modifying the hardware in some way.
Meanwhile, I'm definitely selling off my second, newer PSP now. It will likely go towards funding a new Xbox purchase. :'( FUCK YOU MICROSOFT :maf :maf :maf
-
Aw, shit, never thought of that. I'll keep my old PSP for hacking sexxxperiments. 8)
-
I've stopped my portable gaming, so probably not, unless it makes the entertainment features far easier to manager.
-
Yeah, that's one of the things I'm :-\ about on the PSP. Transferring movies to PSP kinda sucks, and from what I can see, you can't title the movie files with the actual movie title, it has to be a string of letters and numbers, otherwise the PSP can't read it. Laaaame. That can be fixed via firmware updates, though, I guess.

If you have a haxxored PSP, you can just get a movie player and play any format movie without having to convert to MP4 and all that shit.

PSP is the magical time compression machine!
Get on train, start decent PSP game, arrive at destination before you even know it.
I will buy 2
-
i will probably buy the new version. i've been dying to play mgs:po for some time now and the new gow is looking awesome. plus i'll be able to rip movies or series on it, too. :-*
-
Hell yeah, provided there's no hardware problems of note.
-
i'll def. buy one. it's the least "portable" of the portables. i can't see how people can fit these things in their pockets.
-
Me!
-
If it doesn't ggghhhhoooosssstttt every tttwwwwoooo seconds like the original version dddddooooeeeessss.
-
I'll buy a 2nd PSP. I love my PSP so much and played it more than any handheld (already own 54 games for mine). Not sure what I'd do with my old one, but probably use it for Japanese PS1 downloads (while my newer one would be used for U.S. downloads).
-
PS1 emulation is the main reason that I want a PSP. I never owned a PS1, so I missed out on a lot of games.
