So basically if something gets a cero rating of Z it's basically hidden behind the counter, not advertised in stores and what not. A load of X360 games have fallen foul of this (Dead Rising had an almost anonymous launch here in stores), and a load of Xbox games got post-release rerated from Cero 18 to Cero Z.
Ninja Gaiden / NG Black being one such game.
So someone has to explain to me HOW THE FUCK Ninja Gaiden Sigma snuck in with a FUCKING D rating?!
I know it seems trivial but this makes a huge difference to how the game can be displayed in stores etc.
Conspiracy total. All of Japan running scared from the Xjuggernaut total.

This is a very interesting observation.
When the Cero 18 games got rerated to Z, was it in a batch with games from other systems or was it just the 360. If it is the latter, then that sounds pretty corrupt.
Oh and  :-* :-* :-* :-* dcharlie, coolest taste in music on GAF ever

thanks Frag , actually i've been worrying about my musical tastes recently... started to think i was listening to too much "old blokes" music! lol
I worry about this too sometimes, but I'm old enough where I can just listen to the same stuff for the rest of my life and be happy with it.

So is Violence really frowned up on in Japan or something? Which is odd since Anime is not only chock full of Violence but Sex and Nudity. But I guess thats apples to oranges.

Just decapitations with blades, mostly.  I hear that Rachel can cut off monsters' heads, which makes no sense.
But tentacle rape?   Train groping?  NO PROBLEM!

wow, that does sound like some conspiracy bullshit.  sounds like the ratings board is getting moneyhatted or there's some nationalistic intent involved in all this.
