Title: Zeitgeist and why I am sometimes TEH NAIVE PAPANGU
Post by: BlueTsunami on June 17, 2007, 06:13:00 PM
What do you guys think? Conspiracy Theorist crazies? Alarmism? I don't know personally and I feel like an idiot for not being able to distinguish between what I should and shouldn't believe.

Either way, the facts put forth are alarming to me

http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/

No one is talking about the vid on GAF and I posted it on another board and no ones talking. Nobody seems interested in it (it IS 2 hours long though). I want to hear what people think who have a better grasp on History and things of that nature (other various issues put forth in the vid too).

BOOGIE?!

Not to tell me what to think but to get a better handle on what I just watched

Am I supposed to know who Gerald Massey is?

He's a relatively famous poet.  Somewhat responsible for popularizing egyptian quasi-mystic stuff in the 19th century.

I took a whole class on classical mythology and never ever heard that stuff about Dionysus.

In that quicj list it listed Muhammad as someone who died and was resurrected. I didnt know that either.

I'd turn it off.  I watched the first 5 minutes and it seemed like dookie to me.  I wouldn't be shocked if it's making shit up.

It breaks out of the religious stuff out of act one and it goes more into Federal Banking and they're Government control. Then into they're interest in the War Machines, how they make back money and act III goes on to what will happen if they're allowed free reign. Ultimately into a Single World Government scenario. It reminds me of all the Hans rants...which I'm not sure what to think about.

Theres a part about the US, Canada and Mexico passing something that would make a single currency called the "Amero"? Not unlike the Euro.

I didn't really pay heed to the Religious part but more of the modern stuff

I cant imagine anyone would ever want to share a currency with the Peso.

Oh yeah, documentaries that freewheel from distinguished mentally-challenged religious/mystic/spirituality BS into NEW WORLD ORDER paranoia are typically very trustworthy and known to be extra rigorous when it comes to triple and quadruple checking their facts and sources (ie. the hobos that live behind my local Safeway).

Um, no government in NA has ever considered the Amero.  It was theorized by think tanks.

A quick wiki gets me:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amero

The dark ages started with the sacking of Rome, but one of the key parts of the period is that the church was, for better and worse, the only light in the dark.  It was effectively the only strongly held-together organization in Europe.

Also, probably about 5 years before we mark his birth, too.  So chalk that up as another miracle!

Who are these "International Bankers" who take my income tax.

I think they are stating its more of a coalition of these like minded individuals which started out with the original Bankers in the US. Which is why they're unifying the currency in other regions of the world

*I'm not stating that as fact :lol but how its portrayed in the video
