I don't really understand the intricisies of IRC but does Dorksnet need to be up to connect to a specific IRC channel or can people just use another Server to connect?

Connect to irc.opa-ages.com -- it's part of Dorksnet.

Dorksnet the website and Dorksnet the irchat are hosted by two seperate computers I believe.
