Title: Total protonic reversal - when the streams cross...

So, it's going to happen at some point and the whole of GAFage is going to melt down , but the question needs to be asked:

In Japan, at what weekly sales tally will the PS3 and X360 streams cross?

If some sales rumours are to believed, this might actually happen this week.

Now, i'm not calling this a come back, but if this does happen this could be a monumental break point for MS (albeit more to do with Sony failing than MS being console gods)

So - i'm going to plumb for .... 6800 sales. MS on the way up, sony on the way down.

Your thoughts (other than 'this thread sucks') ?

I think that 360 sales going up would be pretty awesome, to be honest. :) More likely for the niche japanese games getting made on 360. Bring on SMT 360!

Drinky can reinforce his home into a compound and you guys can spend the rest of your lives distilling moonshine, growing herbs and spices in the basement, and playing Virtua Fighter while the rest of civilization drools its way to Wii-dom.

As for the reversal-it seems it would be really ephemeral, unless the hardcore segment of the Japanese gaming  audience really started to develop a taste for Western gaming. I guess I never stopped to think they might dislike the Wii's unique faggotry as much as US core gamers do.

Yeah, that would be certainly wild. I might just have to read my first Media Create thread ever if that happens, though the inevitable ninthing circle jerk/sony death watch will be excruciating.

I honestly don't see how Sony can keep the price as high as it is. Selling units at a loss is better than having tons of units sit in warehouses going nowhere.

PS3 failing is the the best thing to happen to gaming for a really long time. Its about time those feggits got pissed on
