I'm sure plenty of people here can't wait to get the Wii version, so I'm curious are you going to sell your GC/PS2 version?
I realize that if you get this there would be no reason you'd want the other versions, but I got my GC RE4 on launch and I'm debating on whether to keep i for sentimental purposes.
-
nope.
-
I'd have to buy a copy to sell first.

why has this not ended up on an xbox platform yet ? I'm surprised by Capcom.

because there is only 360, xbox isn't even on the market anymore. And you cant port gcn/ps2 to 360 without graphics being updated
-
You don't need the Game Cube version. You can play the Wii version with the GC controller or the classic controller, and the controls will revert back to the original style.
I was also expecting RE4 to show up on 360; I figured Capcom would release a port of the game for the PS3 and 360 with a playable demo of RE5. Doesn't mean it still won't happen, I suppose.

Why would anyone pay for a version with worse controls and worse image quality? Isn't RE4 a 10$ bargain bin title now? Why the hell would one attempt to sell it when it's become worthless?
And so it'd somehow be better to purchase a 30$ version which offers nothing better? Silly nbots. :lol

Thank God, there's a way to dodge all that waggle nonsense!

Stop being a fucking distinguished mentally-challenged fellow. The Wii version has amazing controls; Capcom did an outstanding job at making the game play so well with the Wii controls.
-
I didn't get the original version so I'll get this one + gamecube controller so I can use the wii for something and say that it's for wii games also.
-
I love RE4 so I will be picking up the Wii version day 1.
Does anyone know when No More Heroes comes out?
-
I've decided to keep my Wii for this (hurrah anamorphic widescreen + classic controls). I think my sis will get the GC copy.
-
Wii has a lot of potential if it starts to get non-shit developers to work on it. Hopefully buying a rerelease at discount price will encourage capcom to make more games for it.
They haven't shown shit of No More Heroes except for one trailer but considering the media blackout on Killer 7, it might come this year.
-
It probably doesn't have a whole lot of resell value, so why bother selling it anyways?
-
No More Heroes will be the BEST GAME EVER, was the main reason I bought a Wii.
Ive decided Im buying myself a 360 in a months time :D was holding out until I got a decent TV but Im moving in with my mum again for a bit and her TV is pretty sweet. Cant fucking wait for these sweet, sweet graphics. Was gonna pick up Gears of War, Lost Planet and Crackdown to start with. What games should I be getting as my starting line up? Importings no big deal either as long as the game doesnt have region protection...
-
NO MORE HEROES OMG
-
If its as good as Killer 7 :bow :elephant
If its better :spin :elephant :bow :elephant :elephant :elephant :OA 4D Hippo

If you're seriously planning to get RE4 on Wii and not use the AWESOME control scheme, then don't bother buying it and stick with the GC version.
-
I have no need to re-buy. I'd play it with the GC or classic controller, and I don't have a 16:9 gaming display. I don't have a Wii, either!
Wouldn't mind pulling the game out again for some Mercenaries. That's the only part of the game I'd feel like playing again.
By the time I get a Wii, No More Heroes will be the same $15 I paid for Killer7. I'm sure it'll be worth every penny.
-
The wii version is basically all of the PS2 version things plus GC graphics.
For 360, I'd recommend chromehounds, Forza or DIRT if you like that type of game, Dead Rising, and tons of demos since pretty much any big game has a demo.
-
shit*bin
no wii chat on evilbore as per the rules
-
S T F U as per my ass to your face

Letterbox on a widescreen TV is unbearable. It wouldn't be so bad if the GC version had a 4:3 full frame mode. And I don't really care how good the controls on Wii are, the targeting reticule really fucks the game's style. It's a satisfying gaming experience when you finally master the laser sight aiming in the GC version.
-
I'm keeping my GC version. In fact, I'm going the extra distance and not even buying the Wii version.
