What the hell is with people who always chase/pursue someone who is totally not right for them?  I know friends of mine who chase women that they have nothing in common with.  They talk about how much they want to be with them etc. when they are nothing alike.

She'll be strong outgoing, loves to party.  He likes to sit at home and watch tv.  Or vice versa

She'll like to go to clubs, get drunk, have all sorts of crazy sex and he's a hopeless romantic who can't dance.   Or vice versa

what the fuck is this shit?  is it just the "want what you cant' have syndrome?"

I know a guy that is obsessed with a girl that listens to reggaeton and rap and he can't stand it!  All he talks about is how much he hates it.

Music is a deal breaker for me.  I know it's not for some people, but that's just an example.

People are dumb.

true.  And I've done it too.  Hindsight is 20/20.  I guess it's kind of hard to see when you really don't have anything in common as long as you feel you're accepted and there's a mutual attraction.

Edit: I think these are the cases when instincts and laws of attraction matter more than logical thought.

or maybe they just get along together.  the only men and women I see doing this are those that date around a lot or those that don't date much at all.

Very true.  Especially the people that don't date often. 

Those are the kind of people who fall head over heels for anyone that will pay them a small piece of mind.

yeah, those are the funny ones cause they like never talk to each other after they break up.

more sensitive side of me tries to pull them together later though.  unless one of them's a complete bitch then they deserve their misery.

I've never seen opposites really work at all.  Probably idiotic.
