Yeah, it's really silly... well my manager is always so frequently busy or out of the office so I don't think he notices, but nearly everyone in our immediate area (mostly younger people, from 21-30) has mentioned it and I get a lot of extra sympathy for sitting so close. It's kinda weird, where I work there are a LOT of recently hired grads, (and a lot of really old people, like 50+, not very many in the middle, since 15 years ago the site fell on some real hard times), and a lot of these people date each other, invariably leading to problems.

Sirius Online is handy. I have lots of music on my ipod and zune and a few songs on my removable drive but I have to like hook stuff up to get those going. Sirius Online I just plug my headphones into my laptop at work and bam.

Actually, until recently, I had a female coworker who would sit in her cubicle with the radio on and sing to herself in Chinese.  If I had not had my own iPod to block out these gentle sounds of gibberish, I'd be posting this from beneath a headstone somewhere.

everyday, i choose 3 songs that i want to listen to over and over and i simply open a browser, find the dailymotion/myspace/purevolume/youtube page and go between the 3.  i never listen to anything outside of the 3 either.

i've had people come by and ask me to listen to different songs and i tell them kindly to fuck off

The absolute dread of realizing you're stuck at work without your ipod is one of the worst feelings in the world.  That said, I laughed and hugged my ipod when I read this thread, I'm just that way.
