i tried selling my old copy here a long while back

BTW as an FYI you cant uninstall that playonline shit from the xbox360 dash(nor does it show up under memory),
 you need to insert the disc and uninstall from there , id do that before you can it/sell it, it freed up like 6gigs for me

I never installed it. The copy is brand new. I bought it one day and reconsidered it the next. The store wouldnt give me a refund.


Oh well. I wanna get rid of it. I also get a copy of the awfull Eragon. I cant get rid of that either.

For the 360 get the price of what Gamestop wants for used 360.
For the games look on ebay for each game but click the completed link on the left to see what they're going for.  I always look for the medium price since some go too high and some too low.  Just look at the past 10 or so sales.

No receipts, it was bought off of some "professional seller" on Ebay. Is there any way to check up on this using the serial#? It's pretty annoying not knowing if its covered or not.

I'm selling my iPod Touch 32gb 2nd gen.  Just decided it wasn't for me-- I'll stick with the scroll wheel for a while longer.   Bought it on launch a couple months ago.  The face is perfect, it has had a skin over it since I took it out of the package.  The chrome side is scuffed up like any ipod, though it's still shiny.  Still works perfectly!

Rummaging through some stuff in the storage unit today, I came across an old Genesis and some games.  Imagine my surprise to discover Shining Force II, complete with case and manual.  I just tested it and the save battery still works.  If anyone here wants it I'll sell it to you for $35 shipped (continental US only, sorry furriners), it goes for $10-15 more on ebay.  Let me know by 10 pm Eastern time or I'm putting it up on ebay tho!

Ah yes, the GOOD Mega Mans.   :lol  I don't have 1, 2, and 3 on NES anymore (had them way back in the day) because I used to have Rockman The Wiley Wars on the Mega Drive.  Sold my Genesis collection off years back, but I have Rockman 1-3 on Virtual Console so it's all good.

I used to be a pretty big video game collector and I also used to work at a used game store, so I often got to get my hands on the good stuff before every else.   :lol  The SNES and NES stuff I have is nothing.  My Genesis/Sega CD/32X collection was huge.  I stopped doing the collecting thing years back, but my PSOne collection has 135 games and my PS2 collection has 157.  Speaking of those, I wonder if I can get anything for Rakugaki Showtime?

Also used to have a lot of the rarer Saturn games, but sold a lot of that stuff off long ago.  I do still have Final Fight Revenge.  Fuck, I really need to ditch this stuff already.  I want a new computer and all this stuff would help!

Valkyria Chronicles for PS3. Great game, but I have a huge backlog and not enough time to play it. Yes, that's a sticker on the case (it can come off with Goo Gone or some other solvent). I can also get rid of a flashed Japanese 360 but I'd prefer cash.  It comes with like 25 bootlegs from 2007 and earlier.  It still plays legit games though.  It's banned on XBL but you can still put your hard drive on it and have your online profile updated when you put the HDD back on your legit system and sign on.  It still works perfectly but I want to get rid of it because I just hardly ever use it.

You can also install games on it because it was updated to the NXE dashboard when I put a legit (region-free) copy of Riddick in it.

GBA SP is normal variant, sry

PS1 games are ResidentEvil Directors Cut (ugly greatest hits), Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 9, and two copies of Final Fantasy 8

The caveat with these games are that one of them has buffed discs (FF8) and the games aren't virgin fresh (they came from a lot I got on CraigsList) -- I have tested the first disc for each on my PS3, though. I'm certainly not playing the entire game to find out if they work.

Hey try not to ridicule me for asking this but does anyone have the PS2 discs for Final Fantasy XI and its expansions that they want to sell for a fair price? A friend wants me to play with them but I want to play on the PS2 because I'm special and different and I love my PS2, and also because I can just have it on the TV and use my PC for other things while I grind my life away. I'm already watching some eBay listings, but I figured I'd ask on here too.

You do. And not just that, but because you have to use the PS2 fat, you need the network adapter. It's a lot of hassle that probably isn't worth it. It is pretty cool that you can still play it on there, though.

Yeah, when I got the game on PC ages ago (I've since lost it) I remember signing up being grueling. But my S-E account is set up now, so it's just PlayOnline.

It's still shocking to me how successful FFXI was in spite of its antagonistic registration process.

Facebook Marketplace seems to be pretty popular for local selling. CraigsList seems to have dried up for me.

eBay is probably your best bet. I have no experience with Amazon.

I've never sold anything on Amazon, but I'm always wary of buying stuff from third party used sellers on there due to most items having poor descriptions regarding condition and a lack of photos, and seeing as how I always see a lot of the same stuff just sitting there, it seems like others feel the same way.

BTW, what happened to Amazon's trade-in service?  They don't take shit anymore.  :o
