Gears of War is the greatest looking game ever made, period.

Just played it tonight for the first time.
It was pretty cool, but nothing mindblowing.
Maybe I've seen too many videos of it already.

I played a bit at TVC's house, was impressed it wasnt stupid easy, but still not worth 60. Thats just a stupid buy like earthbound.

GRAW is waaaaay more overrated then GOW.
At least Gears Of War has decent multi.
BUT NOT AS OVERRATED AS EARTHBOUND AMIRITE?

GRAW is a lot worse then R6. A LOT.
For fuck's sake your teammates don't do anything. You have a non-recharging life meter. You can't see the enemies with your own eyes even when using heat or thermal vision. And you fucking have no gadgets other then the hot air baloon, tank, and helicopter which will all get destroyed.
Did I mention you save the presidents?
And R6 has awesome multiplayer that lets you shoot people in their real face with a shot gun and say that you did that and have your character's lips move when you say that. Technological advancement right there.

if you can be amused by wii sports and its utter lack of anything resembling gameplay, there's a whole catalog of D-list licensed 360 shovelware waiting for you
try getting back into that slackjawed open mindset you get for fisher-price people playing a busted version of pong; open season 360 should suddenly appear like the brightest of auroras on your gaming horizon

GoW is ok but in small doses, I will give Viva a shot.
I cant see paying the extra $10 for some games, but some are dropping and I'll finally give a few older titles a go.
|I do think the clancy games need a rest for a little bit.....but that's just me.

True. Loved the lone wolf missions. I don't think they tested the team mate AI for Hard.

Did you guys play the Ghost Recon games for PC? IMO leagues better than the R6 games on PC. Cept raven shield, that was teh sex.

Raven Shield was the only TC game I played a lot of on the PC. In fact, I think you're the one who sold me on it. :punch
