Not that I ever finish the games, I just looove me some eye candy. Also the car huck thing in Ep1 was pretty funny and fairly interesting for an FPS.

I want Ep2 and Potal, TF2 looks good but I cant keep up with people skill wise usually.

I have HL2 for Xbox, and I'm going to get the HL2 boxset when it comes out for 360

Is 360 getting the episodes by chance? Is the 360 benefitting from all the new visual upgrades?
I havent heard jack shit about this 360 box set :)

It's the same thing as pc boxset. It comes with HL2, graphical upgrades, HL2 Ep 1, HL2 Ep 2, Portal, and TF2.

They delayed Ep 2 to summer 2007 a few weeks ago.

So nice omg. I like how lost coast is like LOOK WHAT WE CAN DO OMG without much though about optimization while Episode One takes those things and with some intelligence makes a game that can run on a wider range of pcs.
Even with my GeForce 7800 GTX w/ 64 bit 2.0 ghz and 2 gigs of dual channel ram and an audigy 2 I STILL got some hiccups, particularly when the swat team drops into the church. I mean the bloom and the smoke and the light through the stained glass windows lol.

the great thing about PC gaming is that we can focus on these great visuals because we KNOW all the gameplay is great ;)

I think it's one DVD. The Xbox port was really good for what they had to work with. So I'm hoping they do the same kind of quality work.

Serious Q. Has Valve made a good console port yet? I never played the Xboxen HL2. But I never read rave reviews on it either.
Valve's other console forays have been kind of shoddy, imo.

Valve has never made a console game themselves. They are apparently doing these games themselves with a bit of help from EA.

What TVC said. Apparently the Xbox360 port is purely by Valve, the PS3 port is being done by Valve and EA.
The 360 port (and why Valve is only undertaking it) is obviously due to its closer to PC Architecture. Valve is working with EA with the PS3 port due to its unconventional arch. Hopefully it doesn't suffer because of it :-/

Still havent played ep1 but at least when it comes to 360 i'll be happy. The new graphics played with HL2 and EP1&2 will make me happy. TeamFortress2 along with Portal is icing. There is also a rumor that they did a full commentary for HL2 and it will be in the new set. Which i'm really interested in.
All on one disc its gonna rock i hope.
