What are some of the songs that really pull at your emotions? If you can link to Youtube videos of them that would rock.
Change is Gonna Come - Sam Cooke
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tjsz8VGXLqs
I first heard this song when I saw Malcolm X. Spike Lee uses the song brilliantly towars the end of the movie as Malcolm crypticly walks to his last speaking appearance. Cooke's voice is powerful yet haunting, and it really grabs me. It's no wonder why this is considered a an anthem for the black community in the US
I'd Love to Change the World - Ten Years After

There are millions of anti war songs out there, but this one really gets to me. Hendrix may be the greatest guitarist of all time, but Clapton's playing on this song is godlike. The long note towards the end of the song really sends shivers down my spine.

Funny you should mention Sam Cooke, I was just listening to that song when I came across this thread. It's a great song.
Through the Wire - Kanye West
I remember hearing this song for the first time. At that point in my life, the only thing positive going on was the fact that we just got digital cable and broadband internet. Those were emotionally trying times for me. This song helped bring me out of a major funk. Hearing it takes me back. I can even smell the autumn leaves that were on the ground. It also helps that I can really relate to the guy. People may call him a pompous ass, but he really had to work hard to get where he's at. Powerful music.
Somersault - Zero 7
I think deep down inside every guy wishes that a girl would love them as much as the girl loves her man in this song.
I Think You Need Love - Dionne Warwick
This song speaks the truth.

Dear God - XTC

Welcome to the Terrordome - Public Enemy
In the Living Years - Mike and the Mechanics
Burn - NiN

Lots! Most recently: Stockholm Syndrome by Muse. Their new album isn't quite moving me like that one did.
