Torchlight $10 (50% off) on Steam
How much is it to keep from Gamefly? Can't be that much.
Metroid Prime Trilogy is gonna be $20 at best buy on Sunday.
gonna get this for my parents' Wii. That's a fucking great deal, even if it's just to play MP1 and 2 again.
If someone finds Forza 3 again for $39.99 again pleast post that. I dicked around and didn't jump on it when it was at that price at ebgames. Now I have to continually waste a GameFly slot to keep renting it and keeping it out. :maf

Steam deals are up
Very good Defense Grid and Stalker deals obviously.
$8 for GTA4!? Is it still broken on PC?
just to be sure, this is the censored rev of Witcher, ya?
btw, best deal that I'd buy if I didn't have it for XBLA is Outrun 2 for $2.50
anything that isn't a "daily special" is on sale through the 3rd, correct?
btw, best deal that I'd buy if I didn't have it for XBLA is Outrun 2 for $2.50
The PC version of Outrun 2 is a lot better (it has twice as many tracks I believe), but it doesn't have online play IIRC. I'd say it's well worth picking up if you're a fan of the game.
Steam Xmas sale should have its own thread.
Tell me why the Mirrors Edge PC version is better than 360.

physX (if you can handle it)
Control is a little better with keyboard + mouse surprisingly
Outrun 2 is surprisingly playable with just the keyboard. What are the best games on that list that will work on an average laptop? I'm seriously considering double dipping on Outrun 2.
and some guy made a spreadsheet (lol) that shows individual game cost and how big the savings are: http://spreadsheets.google.com/lv?key=takFEFyWT5EfFYxerxuOA6w&toomany=true
also, I'm actually considering GTA4. I'm checking on some mods and there are some that fix the handling of vehicles.
Others might know better about laptop gaming, but I would guess almost any game from last gen and before + indie games should run fine, or at least, run fine at low settings.Okay, but which games are good or must plays? I don't follow PC gaming. Recommendations please!

What are your laptop specs beezy?
Hey Frag: Rome: TW is the best TW game, right? I'll probably get it just because it is $2.49, but I thought I'd ask the expert.
It's Xbox 360 Day In The Amazon Gold Box
Amazon.com is doling out 360 deals all day long, discounting titles Left 4 Dead 2, Dragon Age: Origins, Assassin's Creed II, and more.
Left 4 Dead 2 is the Deal of the Day on Amazon, with Xbox 360 and PC versions $34.99 and $27.99 respectively. While that deal runs all day long, the Gold Box Lightning Deals do not. You've already missed Fallout 3 for under $20, which sold out way before the deal expired, so you might want to keep a close eye on the upcoming timed discounts.
At 9am Pacific, "Roam the lush and dangerous world of Renaissance-era Italy," leads us to believe that our Game of the Year contender Assassin's Creed II will be on the price chopping block. At 12pm that deal goes away, replaced with "An epic RPG that is completely shaped and reactive to your play style." Sounds like Dragon Age: Origins to us.
The rest of the day plays out as follows:
2pm: The original zombie killing hit. (Left 4 Dead?)
4pm: The Last Hope is the fourth of the series. (Star Ocean: The Last Hope)
6pm: Experience immersive military conflict simulation with this first person shooter. (Modern Warfare 2?)
8pm: Restore peace to the galaxy. (Slightly vague. Possibly the first Mass Effect?)
9pm: Next up on center court — you! (Something, something, sports.)
My guesses could be wrong, of course, but that's the joy of the Lightning Deal. If I'm at least close, this could be a good day to catch up on some rather epic Xbox 360 games you may have missed.
Happy shopping!

I don't think it would say it on the online stock site since it is on the clearance shelf.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 $20I almost bit until I found out that Activision completely removed the DLC. Yes the money whores at Activision removed DLC that was not free. DLC that I would have gladly PAID for. The reason? the characters glitched the game and they didn't want to bother patching it. Screw 'em. I'll pick this up for 10 bucks on Gamefly someday.

you have a PS3?
No luck at Target here... best I saw was SF4 PC for $10. And since I neither want PC games or SF4, I walked away empty handed
Did it include the gamepad?
GameFly will refund your money if you dont like the game quality - you have to give the game back of courseI always do a install for my 360 games to make sure they work. I've ordered about a dozen games from them. Only problem I had was a copy of Mortal Kombat vs. DC coming in a Prince of Persia case.

It's terrific but if you didn't like the first this isn't going to change your opinion.
it might, there is a lot more variety. I have the 2nd but not the first.
I think it's worth $50 but I looooooved the first one.
DJ Hero is going to be $50 at Toys R Us starting tomorrow 8)
I played L4D1 + 2 for a bit on the 360 and they're good games, but they have that lifelessness and floaty-ness that I've come to expect from PC games. They feel out of place on the 360.
Wipeout is overrated. Sure, it's pretty but I've yet to see anyone be able to drive properly.

I might finally buy Trials HD.
I'm mulling it. Motocross Maniacs was pretty badass back in the day.
Decided to go with Joe Danger instead. It's better than Trials HD.

Bunch of music game DLC is on sale.
Any opinions on Winterbottom or Darwinia?Darwinia seems like a good game, but it was obviously designed for the PC. Playing the demo on the Xbox controller was annoying.

Asia version (no region lock) of Supreme Commander 2 is 13.90USD (1240 yenz). I am a big, big fan of Total Annihilation, but didn't pick up SC1 because the controls were crap on 360 and the PC version was way, way outside my Windows machine's spec. I think I'll pick this up though. Anyone know if it's good or bad?
Late I know, but my opinion of Winterbottom is: averageI am honestly almost never bored. Way too much to do, enjoy, battle, destroy, or appreciate in the real world. Already hard enough to make time for games and noninteractive crap like tv and movies.
(snip)
Probably was worth 400pts if you were bored, though.
Hm. I honestly don't even remember exactly why I was so into TA. Seems like everyone was busy fellating Warcraft 1 and 2, overlooking their simplicity and lack of endgame balance, and every other company in the world was trying to make a clone of that, but when TA came out it had better game balance, more interesting strategies, clever means of displaying 3D objects and terrain... IIRC you could even add units to your build queue and have them immediately join a group on a waypoint-laden patrol path from the instant they were created. So cool -- and this was like 15 years ago!http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-dw-49-en-70-3i6y.html

All I heard was that SupCom 1 had craaaaaaaaaaaaazy amount of micromanagement and people loved/hated it.
SupCom 2 was like "screw being complex. Let's make an rts for dummies!" and got rid of all the micro-management and totally mainstreamed it and fans of the first game were up in arms against it.
I loved TA back in the day, but never played either. RTS games just don't do anything for me anymore :X
Being a better RTS then StarCraft 1 or 2 isn't exactly an accomplishment though. SC2 is practically a retro remake in the RTS landscape considering all the improvements the genre has gone through.I meant that at the time, WarCraft 2 was what people got worked up about, and it seemed like Total Annihilation should have swept the rug out from under it. Instead, it had a decent niche crowd, and Blizzard went on to voltron with Activision and become the game industry's version of Galactus.
SupCom 2 is awful awful awful. I guess it's worth $8, but I'd just as soon play Forged Alliance insteadActually, SupCom2 was on sale for like 1100 yenz, so I dropped that and Crackdown 2 in my Play-Asia cart, then spent 20 minutes trying to figure out to what new location or step they'd moved the "Redeem Coupon." It would have been like 3200 yen for both, but I couldn't use my coupon so I ended up thinking about it too much and realized I don't really have time to play either of them right now. NO SALE.
edit: Oh I saw the SupCom 2 talk above and thought that's what was being sold for $8. Guess it would have been weird for a game that's only 4 months old
Kinect...$89
Microsoft's Kinect was just confirmed to be priced at $149.99, some believe the price is a tad bit high for what the Xbox 360 ad-on does. If you pre-order Kinect today you will set your purchase price at just $89 dollars. To acquire this super deal do as follows:
Head To Toys-R-US And Add Kinect To Your Cart
Apply the code: 939418 In The Cart
It's that simple.
Hurry before it expires or taken down.

Apparently it's save 40% on all videogame accessories
Isn't MS offering a 299USD bundle in November? I thought about getting in on that, but with my RRoD it is more likely I'll buy a new unit before then and poop on Kinect for a year.

* BTW I just thought I should mention that I STILL wouldnt buy Brutal Legend even @ $1 :lol FUCK TIM SCHAFER
Your hate is ugly, demi. BL is a good game. We all know you just won't buy it because it'll be impossible to get the online 'cheevs for an even 1000 since the online community is dead. :'(
It's actually not that hard to find a game on Brutal Legend (if you play during the day at least). You'll probably wind up playing against the same people a few times but it's not completely dead just yet.
Honestly, I wish it were dead, that way I'd be able to easily boost the multiplayer achievements and 1000 it. :P

DLC for Fable 2, AssCreed, TFU and Fallout 3 are all on sale this week. Picked up the two F2 DLCs for like $9.
Just a heads up that next week will be the buy 2 get 1 free deal at toys r us (10/10 to 10/16). Sucks because the following week is Vanquish, Naruto UNS2, Fallout New Vegas, Kirby Wii, etc.

Heavy Rain
Not a problem the game is awesome and I will support Platinum Games till they Die. Did you not play Bayonetta?
Can you preorder games from Kmart? The $25 off coupon I got from Reach expires 3 days before Vanquish comes out.
That's fucking stupid. Why is Kmart so stupid.
I guess I might have to do this. :(Can you preorder games from Kmart? The $25 off coupon I got from Reach expires 3 days before Vanquish comes out.
No you cannot preorder games from Kmart, they do not have a preorder system in place as of yet. Might I suggest you buy something that comes with a $25 coupon like MoH and keep the coupon train going. Then return the copy of MoH when Vanquish releases? It will give you a new coupon that will be active for Vanquish. Think of it as prepurchasing the game.
If your buying Vanquish next week let me inform you about a little deal Kmart has going on.
On top of a $20 gaming coupon for purchasing the game. You'll get $30 off the following titles:Quote from: SHC_Gamer(AKA KMART GOD)10-19 Vanquish $20 gaming coupon

No. Since you get the coupon on purchase (on your receipt). And you only get the discount for buying Vanquish.
You HAVE to buy Vanquish to get $30 off RDR. You can walk back in, but you won't get the $30 off. Just the $20 coupon.
Does that make sense? You have to spend $90 (60 for Vanquish, $30 for RDR after discount) - and you walk out with a $20 coupon on your receipt.
The coupon is printed -on the receipt-
I found it on slickdeals. some dude that claims to be MS said it's to hype Fable 3 some and get the series fresh back in people's minds.
You haven't been able to get refunds on open games in years.
At best buy right now:
K&L2 = $20
Split/Second = $20
Lego Rock Band = $15
Is Split Second any good? I sort of liked Pure and I love Wipeout/Burnout but the demo seemed gimmicky and seemed like it would get old quick.
Conviction is 10$ today at Futureshop!
Medal of Honor for $40 on Amazon today only.
I'm close to buying it just because it's dirt cheap...same here
You'll regret it.....

wow this elitist mentality is ruining the genre. I'm gonna buy a WiiSounds like a perfect fit for you. :smug
Is Scott Pilgrim the oen without co op?
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is only $25 on Amazon.com today. Anyone know if this game is any good?It plays itself.
Enslaved is a rental. It's just a shallow, cinematic one-and-done game, don't waste more than $10-$15 on it.

Don't forget to set aside $15 for your VIP code :lolGamefly's should come with the VIP code. They keep the cases in the warehouse and from my experience they always come with any sort of code.
I've been meaning to get the episodes sometime, but never saw it at the right price. That's definitely the right price. Anyone know how well the PC version runs?
$5 for the best GTA also sounds like a great deal.

I'm still waiting for them to announce a pc version of this. Kind of taking a long time though. Wonder if they might not do it.

If they use the same gap between the console and PC version of GTAIV, you'll be playing RDR on the PC sometime in January.

Exceptin' that rootin' tootin' Mr. Gundam is playing on PS3, I reckon...
I, however, am still yer huckleberry. Sceneman and I are going to get our Zombie Posse on. We still want the Wild Bunch title, right?
Halo Reach is $40.
http://www.amazon.com/Halo-Reach-Xbox-360/dp/B002BSA20M/ref=pd_ts_vg_3?ie=UTF8&s=videogames
Well, replaced my dead US X360 with that 4gb slim for $200+60 credit. Then picked up Halo Reach ($30), Enslaved ($25), Read Dead Redemption ($30) to go with it.
Guess I'm back on the X360 train. Just need to figure out what to do about the hard drive and getting my Ninja Blade save copied over from my old drive. I'll use my 16gig stick temporarily until I figure something out. $130 for the 250gig hard drive is ridiculous. I don't want to pay that and then another $20 for the transfer cable.
I didnt buy shit. Went to the local shop and picked up:
Nightmare Creatures
The only games I want deals on (online only, I'm not fighting people in lines) are:
-Fist of the North Star ($30 or less)
-NFS Hot Pursuit
-DK Returns
-Xbox 360 250gig slim
Spider-Man by Neversoft :bow2
With Fist, just get Hokuto Musou International next month. I think it's going to be around $50, but that includes all the DLC, which would cost more than $20 for everything anyway.

Yeah but the thing is I don't care for the game much and wouldn't have bought any of the dlc. It's not a game I actually really want to play. It's a game that I'd play for a few days and sorta enjoy if I get it for $20.

Why bother, then? Even at $20 that's a waste.
The XBLA deals are ass... I already own all the shit they put up.
fuck splosion man, i'm stuck on the first level, glad this shit was free
i haven't found frustration fun since i was around twelve and only got like two games a year
i didn't know anything about splosion man, should have read up :(

I'm more annoyed that it ruined my point balance. Now I have 18.20 cents or something in microsoft points.

Because I sort of liked the demo. Are you telling me there aren't any games you kind of enjoy but you wouldn't pay $40+ for? There are lots for me. Especially when it comes to anime/gundam games. I liked the Hokuto demo because it lets me play out story from the manga and beat the crap out of dudes with badass moves. Otoh the graphics are fucking horrible, the controls are stiff and the gameplay is shallow and often badly designed. So it has plus/minus factors and therefore I'd like to play it for about $20.
I bought this off CL

it's better than GTAIV and Crackdown 2, but not as good as RDRnot hard to do

bought.
Saboteur sucks. Once you get over the interesting setting and colour/b&w dynamic it's the worst parts of every other sandbox game combined into one.
In general I don't see the reason to buy a game at full price unless you want to play it that instant. I mean, unless you really want to support the developer or think it will be hard to find (which never happens these days).
Brutal Legend is $7 w/ free shipping on Newegg. I bought it. WHATEVERHit me up for online matches whenever. I love the game.

Enjoyable 5 or so hours of zombie killing. More if you're into the challenges.
Gamefly's end of the year Christmas sale starts today. Hopefully they'll discount quite a few games. The free shipping doesn't hurt either.
i noticed they actually raised a few prices on a couple of games i'd been looking at before :mafThat really sucks. I had been looking at last year's deals to get an idea for prices and there's a bunch of games they've got listed for $14.99 this year that were $9.99 last year. Gamefly's sale is pretty much a bust. :(

Hey, can any of the j-gaffers pick me up a 10000yen PSN point card and I'll pay them back through paypal? I need to get some points and Play-Asia wants $150 for one even though the current exchange rate is more like ~$120. That's a pretty ridiculous overhead and I'd rather avoid it.I can set you up if you can pay in US Amazon Gift Cred instead of PayPal. I hates the PayPal.
Sure, I can do that. Throw me a pm with whatever I need to do when you got some time.Wow, I'm already glad I accepted your friend request!

EA iOS games are also super cheap. Dead Space is 99c and is actually pretty amazing. NBA Jam is also a super treat. I feel ripped off for having spent $30 for the Xbox version.
terribly stupid question, but you can buy these games without owning an iphone, right?
I know I'm getting an iphone sooner or later, or an ipad, so might as well get these games while they're cheap.

8pm only? Or starts at 8pm and runs for a few hours?
I would get on Crysis 2 and Bulletstorm at those prices.
I already have Bulletstorm for 360, but I haven't played it yet. Might just buy it again on PC if it's only $9.
Who hasn't played Arkham Asylum by now ???
I finished it only a few months ago myself

I'm going to wait to see if that steam $10 price pops back up, but if it doesn't this may be your next best bet.
So... feel like playing quick games?
Serious Sam 3 is $12 here: http://www.getgamesgo.com/product/serious-sam-3-bfeBought it, but then it said my steam key was invalid. Apparently this means my credit card was rejected, so I ordered it again with paypal and now it's working. Hope I don't get charged twice.

Not really a sale, but sort of a good deal. GoG just put up Quest for Glory 1-5 (both versions of #1, EGA & VGA included) as a $10 pack which is a good deal (or even better at $5 in the year end sale). It's one of my favorite series and anyone who likes adventure games or RPGs should definitely play through the entire series. I already own the games on CDs, but I'll double dip for the bug fixes.

QFG is one of the only Sierra series I never played. I think I may have played QFG4 because I recognize the box art from my youth, but I don't remember. I read a good thread on QFG1 and how it still holds up extremely well last year, so when I have some time I think I'm going to pick this up and give it a shot.

Now I just need Dishonored to hit <$20 and I am good for 2012 Hollywood gaming.
Sounds like the game is faithful to the original though. I remember trying the original back in the day and finding it fairly tough and frustrating.
This is my first XCOM. I'm playing it on easy and taking my time. Also, with hearing some of the tips from the bombcast and online I'm not expecting to have to start over. It's really great. I have had to start missions over because I lost a man or two, but that was mostly bad strategy on my part.

The Last Story (Wii jrpg) is $8 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/The-Last-Story-Nintendo-Wii/dp/B007CSF3GO/
Apparently people are buying it up to trade it in for a profit. Decent price if you actually want to play it! (unless the game is total bunk)

Does the Weeoo actually output at a higher res or does it just spit out a proper 480p signal for older games?
$89 for a Wii? In 2012? That's about $30 too much.Target will have them for $49 and Gamestop will have used ones for $50.
meh. i guess the problem is that I currently have every game I want until next year.
come on amazon, need a vita deal!

Yep, this is correct. No upscaling or anything fancy.Does the Weeoo actually output at a higher res or does it just spit out a proper 480p signal for older games?
I thought I heard something about no higer res output, so probably just 480p.
There's a separate "Wii mode" for Wii and Virtual Console games. Supposedly you can't use the tablet or 360 controller in it; only the wii remote and wii accessories. So, expect less.Wait, what? So I have to buy three sets of controllers to use the damn system?

I'd bite on a $49 Wii if I can get it to play imports. Gundam 0079 time, baby.
Wii's can be modded so easily it's laughable.

The only vita deals you will see most likely will be those that are the bundles. I don't think we will see any non bundle versions going on sale. Best to take advantage of the $50 giftcard from Target's midnight launch of CoD Blops2 and then price adjust (not price match) when its on sale for $199 during BF. Its within the 14 days that Target allows price adjustments and you shouldn't take any shit cause its not a price match. So $199 with a $50 giftcard along with a CoD game.
I'm surprised that the white one's aren't on sale along with the Madden and CoD bundles.
Really? That'd be great. Do you use the app Venmo? It's what me and my friends have been using to pay each other back lately.:o
The closest Walmart is a 30-45 min drive though. I hope amazon undercuts everyone.
If I'm out and about at walmart I'll find you a copy if possible. I'm currently in the planning stages of my BF warzone mapping. For sure its gonna involve going to the M$ store which has a pretty liberal PM policy, so I could technically purchase the games before hand and then PM them with the walmart ad thus not having to wait in any crazy ass lines. I plan to do that with most of the games in the walmart ad that they have cause walmart likes to fucking put their games in different sections. Thus separating them from one another. This, along with the crazy rumor I heard about free Windows 8 phones and $100 Surface tablets means that the M$ store is high on the priority list.
how often are there deals on XBL subscription cards? that gravy train most of us hopped on a few years ago finally ran out for me.

Seems like every few weeks there's 12 month cards up for $35-40 check the trading forum over at cag.
Wreckateer is free for two days on XBLA... of course this is only useful if you have a Kinect
Fuck I just bought that for $20 from Amazon last week >_<
Oh well, it's only $5 at least. Not like buying a $60 game that's $20 a month later.
I'm surprised that ACIII isn't part of Amazon's Black Friday sale.

What's the cheapest BF3 has ever been? I'd like to play that some day
But it's a sim racer, right? I'll stick to NFS.http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/html/pbPage.XboxGames?ESICaching=off&ClickID=dsb22nmtnzxoybxbxkyxnct0rbmhyx22xhhx
Forza Horizon $15
Anyone that doesn't buy it for this price is an idiot. The game is fucking great, probably the most complete open-world racing experience on the market.
I feel like I'm part of the problem for getting the LBP2 Move bundle for 40... but I've been dieing to play the House of the Dead games I bought recently.

It's a hybrid of both, with the game leaning more on the Arcade side.
NFS is a really fun game online but sucks offline. Forza Horizon is a game that's really fucking good offline or online. Playground Games is made up of some of the brightest minds to work on racing games, they know their shit.

Just thought I'd note the difference between Mac and PC gaming:
PC: GFWL with all the GOTY trimmings, while Mac pays 3X for the vanilla version. And people are probably buying it.
:fbm
If you are trying to be a gamer and have a Mac exclusively, you deserve to have a stupidity tax.
I bet if you combed through the history of on-line communication, the first example of port begging was done by a Mac owner.

On sale for $5 from the developer / Humble Store. Steam key and a DRM-free copy for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Gamestop has digital copies of Far Cry complete (http://www.impulsedriven.com/products/ESD-IMP-W2385) for £5. That includes Far Cry 1, Far Cry 2 Fortune's Edition, and Far Cry 3 Deluxe Edition. Presumably it should have been £49 and somebody has fucked up.

A unique puzzle platformer arrives this week with Thomas Was Alone. Perhaps a distant cousin to Sound Shapes; it may look fairly basic, but if you’ve ever wondered how a game could make you care about characters that are represented fairly simply (via shapes), but have an intriguing level of depth to them backed up with strong writing, great sound design, and personality out the ears, you need to check out Thomas Was Alone.

Wait a minute, what the hell was I thinking? It's EA, of course they're going to take your $15 and tell you to go fuck yourself.
I bought it, figured what the hell, I'll at least get a weekend out of it. Origin still has it listed for $15. Pretty fucking shady if they keep selling it and don't do anything about the server situation.

Original Dragon Age is free on Origin at the moment. EA finally made me install Origin :fbm :tocry :noooo
Isn't the original Dragon Age solid? Seems okay from the first hour. Great voice acting too.I started it and got about 4 hours into it before I realized I was really tired of the Bioware formula. So i wouldn't know beyond that.

Akalabeth: World of Doom, a remarkable piece of gaming history, the grandparent of the computer RPG genre, and a direct predecessor of the landmark Ultima series, is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, as a gift to the world of gaming from Lord British and GOG.com!
In the year 1979, a teenager - born in Cambridge, England and raised in Houston, Texas - summoned upon this world an idea of unfathomable might. This boy, young Richard Garriot, son of a NASA astronaut, employed the power of his imagination with the creative force bestowed upon him by the Apple II personal computer, and brought a fantasy world of his invention to digital life. Akalabeth: World of Doom, one of the very first computer RPG titles, came to existence. This act of creation sparked an eternal flame that's been burning bright in the hearts of gamers ever since. The flame of love for virtual realms populated with heroes and villains, for stories told by the digital campfires, for dungeons filled with shiny loot and repulsive monsters. The flame of love for computer RPGs!

Yeah, does that mean they'll be $20 on PC too? I mean it's true some indie stuff has come out at $20 (Ethan Carter/The Long Dark/etc...) but that just means I wait an extra 3 months until it's <$10 on steam.

Yeah, the JPY is weak right now, so the USD is worth more. The price here doesn’t change based on it, but it’s nice to think about it being less than if I’d try to buy it in ‘Murica. The better deal is Japanese-Used (read: mint/near-mint) PS4 for ¥30,000.

Follow-up: I went back to the place that had it for ¥30,000 several times, and they didn’t have them in stock. Yesterday I went to Nipponbashi, the geeky area I took you to during your visit, and every place had them for ¥40,000 - ¥46,000 -- which is not much different from new. Basically, no-one I wanted to deal with because they’re far away if I have to arrange a return, and no-one had prices I could justify.
I get home and visit the local place again, and they’ve got one... ONE in stock for ¥36,000 and it’s “used” but unopened, and was only purchased a week before, so the manufacturer’s one-year warranty still has 51 weeks on it.
So now I have a PS4.
This means when Rock Band 4 comes out I'll finally be able to play with ya!

I don't care about those things, but I'd like a little depth in gameplay beyond aim and shoot, especially when there's a complete lack of content and variety with it.I love the shit out of the new Rainbow Six. The slow pace was refreshing.
Something like Rainbow Six Siege which is also mp only blows SW out of the water with the amount of gameplay depth it brings to level design and player mechanics. We're not talking about levels or even unlocks really.
Saints Row IV with all the DLC is 14.99 on ps4 and xb1 at Best Buy right nowNice. Really loved playing that game on Steam. Can't tell if 3 or 4 are better but they are one of my favorite games
IV was originally going to be an expansion pack and thus I will always think of it as III and a half (or should I say V :teehee) but it's still a fine game.
Yep. The super power stuff originated in Enter the Dominatrix (which ended up being DLC for SR4 in an ironicish way). The president stuff was new IIRC.IV was originally going to be an expansion pack and thus I will always think of it as III and a half (or should I say V :teehee) but it's still a fine game.
Just the Enter the Dominatrix bit, wasn't it? The presidential stuff was totally new?

Hmmm, some alright deals. I wonder when I'll jump in and get an Xbox One. Still want to play Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2/3 (3 is broke on PC) and Quantum Break (broke on PC) someday. Seems like the One S is pretty nice, but the $299 packins are with games I don't want (Gears4/BF1) because they actually have better PC versions.

Doesn't seem worth it when the only actual Xbone game you want is Sunset Overdrive. Wait for the others to get fixed on PC.

These games are months old (Horizon 3) or half a year old (Quantum Break). They're done optimizing the games. They're both just broke. These two games will never run as well as the Xbox One versions.

Damn, I'd jump on the PC version in an instant at that price.

That's insanely low. Did previous console generations get big holiday price cuts like this before, only a couple of years after release? I can't remember.
Would any of you recommend the Vita games that bork posted? I'm considering Shiren even though I usually get frustrated with those games after a few hours.
Note, this is a physical copy of the game that includes a Steam key for activation enclosed in the box.

Nice to see it finally pop up. If you want to get it earlier, there's a third party seller selling it for a few bucks more (they got it early and shipped mine yesterday), plus Video Games Plus in Canada has it as does Play-Asia...although the latter is gonna cost too much to get in a few days from FedEx.
There's probably lots of Christmas noobs as well.Sweet. I'm gonna stomp those kids with my skillz
Sweet. I'll get this, fh3 and dr4. Then I should be set until next holiday seasonIf you don't have Tintanfall 2, you're not set. :aah
