I sincerely doubt iphone games would ever sell on a console connected to someone's tv. They are sold as minute distractions for people standing in line or waiting for the bus. The original brain training games would've bombed on the wii for instance.  They suited the portable format very well and were easy to fit into people's schedules. If I'm not mistaken, nintendo tried to leverage big brain academy on the wii and that promptly flopped everywhere.

All future kinect threads shoud be about Dance Central and nothing else.

WII SHOVELWARE AHOY!

this feeling is weird,i'm going to get pissed if this sells because it certainly doesn't deserve to be in any sort of chart, and i'm going to get pissed if this doesn't sell because it's not fair that casual distinguished effete fellows bite only on the wii

PS Move blows this out of the water.

Almost as much as that chinese girl blows me.

Kinect actually has a chance to sell on its novelty though. Move is gonna bomb soooooo hard.

Kinect has a bigger chance to bomb because the games look like unresponsive shit. And it's already a huge failure in Japan.

But Move has already sold out in Germany (amazon).  :o

Oh look, someone citing amazon numbers. How cute.

edit: and I said it has a chance to sell on its novelty. I didn't say it wouldn't be perceived as unresponsive at some point and stop selling.

Well, this novelty comes at a very high price. I don't see it succeed.

Maybe if it was priced at less than $100

Don't be so sure, easily obtainable cheap stuff sells, look at Steam...omg dirt cheap game buy, buy, buy.

But my point was about touchscreen controls...no buttons lol lol lol stuff...and despite that platform has evolved a lot,now even professional teams like Epic or Id are showing great interest in iPhone and they are not doing that out of love interest.

And you inadvertently posted something that could be a biggest Kinect advantage...wanted level

It's like 1000000x better to have expensive but wanted device than cheap not wanted one, because you can always drop the price...raising the wanted level is an impossible task
Add-ons are always hard to sell, even if they are like $1 cheap.

Move won't be a massive success, but I think it'll definitely outperform Kinect in terms of sales. Kinect will sell approx 5 units in Japan, all to Sensui.
