My aunt adopted a kid from New York when I was young; he was 3 years older than me and terrorized me for much of my childhood. When I was 15 we both attended a dinner at my godmother's church. Cannabis has been shown to increase users’ appetite, sending many customers of legalized dispensaries to fast-food chains, according to a new study by Green Market Report and Consumer Research Around Cannabis.
Forty-three percent of legal-marijuana users ate at a McDonald’s restaurant in the past four weeks, the survey found. Eighteen percent ate at Taco Bell, while 17.8 percent went to Wendy’s. Those results were significantly higher than among respondents who hadn’t visited a dispensary.
Around 55 to 70 percent of Taco Bell’s revenue comes from orders purchased at the chain’s drive-thru windows. Which is why it’s rather shocking that the Tex-Mex brand plans to open hundreds (300 to 350 locations to be somewhat exact) of new drive-thru-less cantinas by 2022. More specifically, the chain wants to make its presence known in urban areas.
Zeroing in on big cities like Detroit, Pittsburgh, Boston, and New York (including a plan to open at least 50 locations around the city's five boroughs). The new-and-improved “urban in-line” or “cantina-style” stores to come will be designed to express the local vibes with artwork, open kitchens, and digital menu boards.
Even more exciting, there will be booze! People everywhere, but in cities especially, like to go out for a drink. The majority of the new “urban in-line” locations will serve beer, wine, sangria, and Twisted Freezes, aka slushies with tequila, rum, or vodka.
“One of the cool things happening in America right now is the revitalization of urban areas, and we’re seeing millennials moving into downtown areas,” Mike Grams, Taco Bell’s chief operating officer says. Currently, there are already roughly 6,000 Taco Bell restaurants nationwide, but expanding the urban footprint, in particular, makes sense. The hipper vibe and smaller scale of these cantinas highlight another point, that the chain “isn’t afraid to try new things,” according to Grams.

I got the Bell Grande version and it was pretty good. Nachos made with fries is a delicious thing that seems super obvious in hindsight. It's also way more filling cause of all the fries. :lol I was pretty stuffed after that so for like $4 after you add jalapenos, it's a pretty good well priced lunch.

I had the Rattlesnake burrito. It's pretty good, but it's not very big and feels way overpriced compared to typical Bell fare. Should be $2 max, but because it's got the steak no one likes, they made it $3. I am in Idaho. I downloaded the app, loaded it with prepaid credit from a card, and tried to order via the app. The Taco Bell from which I plan to pick it up was identified by the app as “about to close soon“ though its hours were listed as 8AM to 1AM. It was 2:30 PM. The app would not let me specify that store to pick up.go to papa joe's in boise for some great pizza pie :)

I'm honestly surprised to still see this thread kicking. I was definitely part of the original TB cheerleading squad on The Bore, but man, all of them near me have been garbage for like 5 or 6 years. Not just "i'm growing up and it don't taste like it used to" type stuff - but the tortillas on the bean burritos and soft tacos are always crunchy & stale from being warmed up and then sitting out too long. The cheese on everything is always unmelted. The quesadillas have like two, maybe 3 pieces of chicken or steak. I'm shocked to read the latest comments in here and find that it's apparently not everywhere? The TB's in my area used to be amazing but just completely fell apart the last few years. Now I'm jealous

Around midnight, after Bechiom had stepped outside for a short time, she walked back into the restaurant and saw a co-worker “having sex with his wife in front of everyone at the party,” she alleges.
