"“Brock Lesnar remains under contract to WWE, however, he has been granted a one-off opportunity to compete at UFC 200. Following this milestone event on July 9, Brock will return to WWE for SummerSlam on Sunday, August 21, live on WWE Network.”"
However, the 38-year-old, who retired from MMA in 2011 due in part to his battles with diverticulitis, isn’t back for good.I thought it was dislike-of-being-punchedulitis
I never watch UFC or really follow it, but Dana White really seems to be a total dickhead.
Lesnar, 38, described his recent meeting with [Vince] McMahon during a Monday interview on ESPN’s “SportsCenter.”
“I said, ‘Listen, old man, we can do this the hard way or the easy way,’” Lesnar chuckled. “I said, ‘Do you wanna arm-wrestle for it?’ and he’s like, ‘Yeah, what the hell.’ So, I ended up beating him, and here we are.”
Vince likes money, so I hear.yea i mean he could take like 1% of the card and be more than happy
I like how Dana fucked the card by trying to be a tough guy with Conor Mcgregor. I'm not even a Mcgregor fan but that whole episode was another perfect example of ufc silliness.yea quite the fuckup for the alleged best card ever.
UFC has an anti doping policy? Why?
This face says it all :lol

Holly looked fucking horrible, GG UFC women's bantamweight division, might as well just have rounds of rock paper scissors to decide boutsyup, total mess
But also, Ronda holds no wins against any of the current contenders apart from Mieshatrue im just being facetious haha but this would be a great time for her to comeback
She's going to have to jump and take on Cyborg, that's where the money is, and if she by some miracle beats her she's being talked as as a beast again. They gotta give her a layup first though. I dont think Ronda is coming back for anything but a title shot and I cant see Holly holding the title anytime soon unless via Cyborg then title. Also that rematch has lost all it's shine with Holly eating two losses. But also, Ronda holds no wins against any of the current contenders apart from Mieshatrue im just being facetious haha but this would be a great time for her to comeback
on the flip side, what's Holly's next move? Sit out until a Rousey rematch? Can you even imagine if she lost 3 in a row
Damn Holly just got outboxed there. Good defenses in that last round but the rest of the time...yeesh. It's rough cause you can tell she's taking these losses hard.Yeah she was holding in tears there, it was heartbreaking :/
meh.im being hyperbolic but he definitely dominated last night
Yeah Conor looked really fucking good. All the hype and history shit is going to go down pretty poorly though, when people look back at this they wont see a great fighter dominating a champion, they'll see a guy who never defended shit being gifted chances by his org to make money. All this crap is not going to go down well in the history books, it's a joke now and it will be even more so later when MMA becomes more legitimate.I don't disagree, but it's not all on Conor. The UFC is to blame for turning the sport into a business first, sport second, in the sense that they've started going solely for money fights and not for who deserves matchups etc.
MMA has ALWAYS been business first, sport second. Always always always. It's been a carny sport since day one.Yes, it has, but it's not trending to stay that way
New owners have already said that they're interested in money fights over everything else. Why would you think they'd change their mind on that?Fighter unrest. This money era has the added effect of creating a lot of fighter unease and is hastening pushes to unions, jumping ship and fighters asking for equity etc. short term, sure make cash, longer term fighters will be signing shorter contracts, smarter contracts and I believe in a couple of decades we wont really have promotions anymore and it will be like boxing.
AND GSP IS COMING BACK TOO :hyper :punchI'm so scared lol
AND GSP IS COMING BACK TOO :hyper :punchI'm so scared lol
my fav fighter but I don't want him to tarnish the legacy
although he can definitely beat Bisping (lol) so hopefully that's the fight
GSP has two moments of seminal shit talking, something about not being impressed at performances and calling people uneducated fools, bonus 'i 'ired a man', but yeah in general he's bad at it, but funny because his opponents usually do GSP accent
Lando's match was great, made me a fan of David TeymurI love how he kissed everything in front of him.
who cares. is the carny mma fight of the millennium happening or not, twitter hasn't mentioned shit so i assume it's dead right?Mayweather and McGreggor seems to still be on sadly
I'm still disgusted that Dana White is going to profit so much from the Conor/Floyd fight. Makes me sick.Is Dana getting any of Connor's 100 million?
Amazing fight there. Jones is an idiotthe GOAT.
This sport needs drug testing to be implemented like other sports where it's random. Keep people off this shit, make the fight about prowess, and not prescriptions.Sadly, MMA (well the UFC) has some of the most stringent drug testing on earth(including 24x7x365 random testing). The cheaters just have more resources to throw at evading them.
This sport needs drug testing to be implemented like other sports where it's random. Keep people off this shit, make the fight about prowess, and not prescriptions. The USADA testing is very stringent and also random, in and out of competition. They can show up at your house day or night and demand blood and urine (Mighty Mouse has had USADA show up to his house while he was streaming (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IsI-4-eXTM), or sometimes they stalk you like a bunch of weirdos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQfFc9hkijs)), year round. As far as I'm aware, most fighters are tested 12+ times a year now (http://www.foxsports.com/ufc/gallery/here-are-the-ufc-fighters-usada-tested-the-most-in-2016-022317). If you dodge or refuse a test, like Wanderlei Silva (which was pre-USADA but he still got essentially a lifetime Nevada ban), you're toast.
I mean you guys are probably right but there was that talk about how hard it was for him to move up a weight class, and he looks built despite the difficulties... maybe Jon Jones crap just got me cynical. >_<It would just be extremely weird since one of the alleged reasons for his initial years long break was his assertion that many people were juicing.
Watched the Okami vs St. Preux event finally. As a huge fan of kickboxing I'm happy for Saki but I think he got off easy. When somebody goes to test his ground game, I gotta wonder if he could still hold up. Huge fan of Gomi from the PRIDE days (wish UFC never bought them) so I am sad he lost. No comeback for him I suppose. :(
We're here boys GSP week :hyper
I hope TJ knocks that idiot Gabrants head clean off with a wheel kick also :maf
GSP's brain is damaged from aliens and kitty litter, his time with sensei Segal offsets that, though. His new muscle gut will provide him protection to body shots. The closeness to Canada makes one suspicious of judges, as well as New York's long standing feud with England.
Expect a controversial and boring decision.

wow fuck #2jesus christ what is this card
I sensed a Holly/Ronda tier upset when Joanna was talking shit before she even entered the cage. Looking at the vid and weigh in I was positive Rose would get killed as I've never seen her fight but she looked terrified. And then I saw Joanna was way too in her own head as queen bad ass just like Ronda, got cocky, got got.
I think I'm slowly becoming more of a woman's MMA fan than mens. It's like in Tennis, the size and speed of women make for more interesting matches.

Played a bit of UFC 3 beta. All the strikes feel like you're underwater, the grappling on the mat and submissions are entirely counter intuitive and don't do what you try to do 9 times out of 10. Plenty of physics issues but those are funny.Read about the micro transactions earlier, Jesus on a stick, what the fuck.
Nasty knockout from Ngannoutitle fight is gonna be nuts
