Looking at you John Lawrence Sullivan. :(

Now that I’m old and worn down I mostly wear minimalish euro stuff like marni, our legacy, Stephan Schneider, common projects and other random stuff I pull off the Internet.

Also goin to say that raf p much killed Calvin Klein collection outright. Shits trash now. Just american vetements with more art cred smeared on top.

This is not the Met Gala review post I wanted from you.
MET menswear was either dudes wearing a tuxedo poorly or looking like an anime character. Given that givenchy and Dolce & Gabbana have given us several seasons of catholic/renaissance referencing menswear I expected better.

I dunno I find most of that kind of stuff lacking in the art expression department (ie the kind of runway fashion that would get panned critically) or as relevant fashion as it exists today culturally (unwearable etc). Just expensive costuming couture Which is fine but it’s dying out for a reason 🤷‍♂️

I like Allen Edmonds too. They make a quality shoes that is pretty good for the price.

I haven’t gotten new sneakers in sometime... but my current rotation is AMI, common projects, and Vince.. the latter are actually pretty good chillbro going to the store shoes, plus Vince goes 60% all the time.

I like Allen Edmonds too. They make a quality shoes that is pretty good for the price.

That said, I wish they had more of a European row. I find it to be a bit too rounded and blunt for my tastes, but just barely so.
I actually love that aspect of them. Hard to explain but it’s like they’re almost bland and too old fashioned.
