Kingsman was too much of a rip off to be good imo. I mean, Mission Impossible takes the Bond formula and format but kind of does its own spin. Kingsman is a Bond fan film mixed with American comic books. It's kind of like how the Austin Powers movies are barely even parodies and basically just directly rip off various scenes but add fart jokes.

I like the idea of post-Craig doing period pieces set in the 50s/60s instead of doing another modern reboot series or trying to continue the Craig series with much closer continuity than the previous series with a new actor.

yeah that works for me, i dont really want continuation between bond movies at all tbh, I want one movie to be able to be completely insane and the next be a bourne movie then the next sherlock holmes if they want.

One of the James Bonding guy suggested a miniseries where each episode focused on a different 00 working on the same case (unbeknownst to each other or not) and you don't get the full picture until the last episode. This would also allow for various people that people want or actors that want to do a Bond movie but not get locked into 5-10 year deals to basically get to do their own spin on Bond for an episode.

He seemed to come up with that on the spot and I was like  :leon
