"But I don't like card ga--"
Get the fuck out. Even if you don't like card games, $15 for a roguelike deck-builder is worthwhile. You get 3 classes, "3" acts, and tons of fun trying to build the perfect deck only to get screwed over by a boss at higher ascension levels!
There's no PvP! BONUS!!!! You can be a choosy-bitch for as long as you want!
Buy now! It's $15 (well $10 if you got it during the steam sales) and it's solid fun! Probably my GotY last year.

I'm glad you love something. I hope it has many years of wonderful success as a franchise and that the developers are able to grow while also focusing on things they love. Bless up.

Cosign. Slay the Spire is really good.

Playing this recently as it was released on gamepass. Really good. And generally speaking I'm not big on rogue-likes but this one is legit fun

Yeah tried this on gamepass as well. Really fun. So far my first run was my best run.

Sorry, off-topic post. Games don't release, they are released. It's a transitive verb that's used in the passive voice (unless you are the one releasing the game): You release a game or a game is released (by someone).
I think this broken grammar originated on NeoGAF and from there somehow kept spreading.

There's a 4th character coming in the next month or two, so the game should get another interesting twist put on it.
But if you're playing on Gamepass, I really suggest getting it on Steam. The workshop. :lawd

4th character is out on Steam/beta.
Stances. :lawd

Scrying into Stances... :money
Definitely needs tweaks though, the starting stances are too expensive, IMO. But I haven't given it enough time yet.
