Overwatch is struggling because Activision/Blizzard allocated most of their resources to Esports shit post launch. OWL was the worst avenue to go down.

As for this, Ninja Theory wanted to make this game but postponed it due to budgetary issues. I imagine the Microsoft acquisition made this project a lot more viable.

Can't wait for people to say it's a fighting game.

Watching the video clip, it looks like a 4v4 Anarchy Reigns but with an actual budget behind it. Which is actually dope as fuck.

Im assuming like three people including myself have played Anarchy Reigns though. That game bombed because you limp dicked cowards would rather play games like Hellblade. :yuck

Holy fuck this looks bad. Damn.

That's one of 13 Microsoft Studios down the drain.   :lol

That new Platinum Switch game gives me Max Anarchy vibes. That’s the reason I’m interested in it. Max was a fun game.

It's one of the most ambitious multiplayer games to this day. Character action brawler on stages with gigantic and chaotic transformations. Every match would be an amazing clusterfuck. I think one stage had a plane crash that would happen every five minutes?  :lol

If the campaign was more linear and focused, it would've been heralded as one of Platinum's best games. The main menu alone has more style than entire games.

Max Anarchy ruled but NT combat :donot

That is a good point. Im not concerned with 1v1 fighting, its gonna be the group fighting that could feel incredibly janky.

As long as its fun is what Im hoping for. Im expecting character balance and abilities to be all sorts of fucked up tho.

The character select screen alone was fire.

I think this calls for an avatar change.

So Microsoft picked them for a game in dev hell, and made them turn it into a GaaS thing.

This will surely go well.

Ninja Theory has yet to make a good game.

They are not going to be the ones that crack melee multiplayer.

Why would you want sequels to any of those? They all wrapped up their story.
