I know things are kinda tense right now, anxieties riding high, media gas lighting the fuck out of everybody and shit. Take a break, do something nice for somebody else, take a walk everywhere is empty! I've been having anxiety attacks every night about this. I'm really worried for my family - specifically my mom, aunt, brother (an internist in NYC), and sister in law (who is due in a few weeks). Then the issues with the broader economy that are forthcoming, worried about food stocks (I need to try going at 8AM or have my mom pick up some stuff for me when Stop & Shop has their senior hours), and the fact there seems to be no way out of this shitshow at the moment.

Check in with loved ones often! Even if they're well they could be going stir crazy and be starved for attention/interaction! There are many things out of our control and in moments when you feel anxiety about that riding high it might be good to do and focus on something you do have control over. No matter how silly or small it maybe.

I'm burying myself in my work for now - doing AP systems and our biggest clients right now are warehousing/logistics, hospitals, and utilities companies. I've been calling my mom, texting my bro/sister in law, skyping my gf every day, as well as chatting with my good friends in our FB chat. Being an introvert has been helpful.

I got my heart's mitral valve fixed and I feel a million times better than I did before. I'm safe at home with my wife and my daughter is enjoying her time with my parents while I recover. There is still good in the world.

not good today, sick of lockdown, yeah sure games and shit, but I'm working from home,

not stopping when I'm meant to and just missing outside world as not even allowed to go shops because past health stuff, took a 20% pay cut whilst partner who is PT has no income till June...

But ehh could be worse, planning wedding stuff for next year and still chasing house stuff. Just want some form of normality to return.

Stressed for mother too as she's a nurse on front line and seems like they're not given a fuck about, but be sure to clap each week because that helps.

Ahh well it's the freaking weekend and I'm about to have a few drinks and just forget this shit.
