i'm pretty much insulated from most if not all of the problems created by the current 'president' so not much different for me. I do think there will be a positive swing shift in some areas of policy; but biden is a old grandpa centrist so nothing of significant material impact which is what I would prefer to see. This whole campaign just feels like a DNC apology tour to be honest, which I guess is 'good enough' for now but when you're up against a political death cult it's hard for this tack to inspire much in the way of consideration on my end.
WRT culture of civility itself.. no, facebook/twitter/etc have pretty much annihilated that for a good generation+. when you have actual news networks posting tweets from randos to spark discourse you've just given up the wheel. my grandma posts pizzagate adjacent links on facebook. i have to talk to my 9 year old about not believing stuff you read online even though it may sound legitimate and look professionally produced. there is so much money to be made in misinformation now, and nobody seems to care unless the body count gets too high in a fiscal quarter.

Well, let's be honest. We'll be accepting a more even keel in exchange for higher taxes, a freefalling economy, and porous borders.
The problems we have won't go away with Old Joe at the helm. We might be looking at another Nixon/Ford/Carter era-transition.

Without the responsibility of governing Trump can once again deliver his hot takes and commentary on the failing Biden administration on Tucker, Hannity and Dobbs.
The focus of reporting will move back to 'ze economy' and the recession for which they will mostly blame Trump.
Biden like Bill Clinton in the 90's will see his 'massive FDR spending programs' stonewalled by Democrats and Republicans alike and be in the same position as most centrist European governments.
He will have no choice but to cut social security and other expenditures to fight climate change, bail out vital industries and solve the pandemic.

Presidents aren’t god-kings. They’re just bureaucrats that makes small changes on the edges and you may or may not feel some impact down the road.
Congress and your state government has a more direct impact on your life, but you don’t have control over who runs it. So, people spend all the time and energy focusing on this one office where they throw all their hate/hope at to make them believe that their vote actually has some meaning.

Biden will win, there is no doubt about that in my mind. I am honestly losing all hope in the future. I just can't fathom why seemingly rational individuals are siding with Marxist SJWs. If the democrats disowned the SJWs and dropped identity politics I would be a democrat. As I personally fit politically with them on other things, but I am scared shitless at where that party is headed and so I vote republican. Not that my vote matters, or that anything matters. We are completely fucked, and after a mush for brains Biden lets his regressive handlers neuter the first amendment and get rid of the second the US is done for.

They need something in place by the election because the DNC is gearing up to supress Trump saying anything about the election except for Biden won. Nov 3rd and on they wont allow any election related articles that dont declare Biden the winner. So need to nip that in the bud asap.
