really bitter sweet watching it, he should still be here with a more evolved and refined craft.
wanted to make this thread after a rewatch, but been putting it off too long
patrice wasn't too bad of a misogynist really. his daughter said he taught her to love herself, there was a lot of love there even though it was a stepdaughter and she had her biological in her life. so patrice knew he didn't have to, he loved her.
also sad when his wife von talked about her getting an abortion because patrice didn't want to leave her by herself and no help to raise the baby. she found the pregnancy test in one of his drawers, he had saved it and it upset him to see it :(
