You know, I'm pretty ok with this roster. Can't please everyone with only 12/13 heroes out of all the Marvel characters, but I mean I got Blade, Wolverine and Ghost Rider and Dr. Strange so I'd be down to play this.

I can see it, War of the Chosen was going in that direction with crazier powers and stuff. Actual super humans isn't a huge leap and could work well.
I'd much rather have X-Com 3 tho

I guess I'd have just preferred a roster more used to dealing with the supernatural side of things... hopefully Moon Knight is just unannounced rather than a huge missed opportunity

I read that this has been in development for years and was originally Marvel X-Com but then they threw it all out and changed it to this.
Looks like it could be fun. Idk, I haven't played an X-Com game in 20 years because while I like strategy games the setting hasn't really interested me. Otoh I like Marvel so I'll at least try this one.

I like that it's going for something different than just being a straight XCOM clone, but the create a character and taking Iron Man on a date in the park stuff is not the tactical game inspiration I wanted. :lol

Something about the card aesthetic (cheap mobile take) and visuals don't give a positive impression. Character designs really wouldn't look out off place in Square Enix's Avengers, bland and boring.
I'm sure Firaxis have put some substance into this, but there's just no style.

Firaxis makes good strategy games.
Super-Hero based strategy games are fun.

Looks fun to me.
That one preview with the Venom fight looked like a never ending slog though, especially with the infinite respawning goons. Can’t tell if it’s obnoxious design or if just the dude playing was bad and/or made a bad deck.

Yeah, previews are glowing but the footage looks not very fun. Waiting for reviews on this one.
