Lots of companies started in the 1800s throw me off most. When Marvel popped up, put it around 1940. They listed it as 1998.

I got 12 and 17. Last one had a bunch of people and historical states and such so it was pretty easy to figure out if they were before or after another one by the image. :doge

You were were right in one way but wrong in another. Marvel Comics was founded in 1939, the current Marvel Entertainment company was created in 1998 when ToyBiz bought the prior company (which itself was formed in 1986 out of a merger) out of bankruptcy. I personally wouldn't consider 1998 to be "right" either.
