I own a Wii and have enjoyed it so far. My only worry with the Wii would be third party development. If you chart the last 2 generations of Nintendo third party support it would look like the following.
N64: Launch lineup was basically Mario 64 and no one cared for the first month because the game was so great. But basicaly non-existent third party. Great second party. Rare. And many WWE fans claim the N64 games were among the best in the genre.
GameCube: Great lauch lineup. Better support from Japanese devs, such as Capcom and Namco, but it fizzled as the PS2 ran away with the generation.
Wii: Amazing buzz from e3 due to Wii Sports and interest from casuals, but lauch lineup was meh. So far much of the third party development has not been the most ambitious. Stand outs have been EA and Ubisoft, more due to support than quality, Greater install base this time around should net better third party exclusives. Only time will tell though.
My anticipated titles:
Metroid Prime 3
Nights 2
Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Super Mario Galaxy
Zack and Wiki
No More Heroes
Animal Crossing
