I'm disappointed with the VF5 stick, but I'll be picking it up anyway at some point.  It's exactly the same as the DOA4 stick, which has sort of a wonky layout that I'm not really a fan of and seemingly cheap parts.  Supposedly it's extremely difficult to mod, so changing the parts isn't an option.  Given that it's a Hori, I was expecting a little more than a simple rerelease.

I snagged the new Europa Universalis 3 expansion (Napoleon's Ambition) today from Gamersgate, will download on my home machine as soon as I get there.

We should set up a Civ4 succession game where you, TVC, and I all play a game for like 15 turns at a time and pass around a save file. It's really fun and you guys can learn a few things.

The expansion for Medieval 2 : Total War is next week as well. I also noted that a new Total War game was annouced today (Empire: Total War, based in 18th-19th century Europe and colonies) and that a second GalCiv2 expansion is in the works.

THAT'S HOW BATTLES BEGAN!  But the Civil War was one of our bloodiest and grittiest wars.  Robert E Lee was a God at out-maneuvering the North.  The South had nothing but still stood toe-to-toe with the North.

I've seen bits and pieces of it, clips online and whatnot.  But it looks amazing.  I've been picking up documentaries about WW2 and Vietnam and whatnot.  They're ridiculously cheap (10 bucks for 6 dvds!!!!) at Best Buy.  You should check it out, it's surprisingly an interesting war.  However, I think it's only interesting as Americans because of all the emotions and results from the war.  I'm only into it because my History teacher in high school had a hard-on for Robert E Lee and it rubbed off on me.
